A very insightful speech and interview. I wish I could have been there. The man is indeed a living legend and I am so thankful of what he brought to Disney and to us!

There is a video of him giving a tour of his custom built home. It's stocked with things that he stole from the Disney company. He even stole a tree from Disneyland, moving it to his front yard. It left me with a very negative impression of him. He seems to talk down to people with a degree of condescension that does not become someone involved in the theme park industry. I could understand him conducting himself in this manner if he was a learned scholar in a lofty discipline. But he's not. He supervises amusement parks. He needs to take his ego down a few notches. He should also probably stop stealing property from Disney.

Thank you very much for shooting and sharing this video with us. 😊 A few notable Tony Baxter quotes that stood out to me...
1:45 "When I think of the parks, I think of Disneyland in California as very charming, I think of the Florida project as very spectacular, and I think of Disneyland Paris as the most beautiful park that we've ever done, and the detail level I think is extraordinary."
8:33 "We came up with reversing the sequence in that ride, so we could get you up higher at the beginning, which allowed us to reinstate the second waterfall. So, this attraction and the one in California are the only two Pirate rides that have the original amount of thrill that Walt Disney wanted in the initial park."
20:18 "You're probably aware of what we're doing in California and Florida with Star Wars Land. So, both of those places are gonna have an area as big as Discoveryland, just devoted to the world of Star Wars. So I think, you'll be able to tell when those attractions open, and I think they just announced 2019, you'll be able to visit and if it's as good as I imagine it's going to be, then we'll see what happens here."
22:33 "And I worry about Apple. Steve Jobs is not with us anymore, so who's the one coming up with these brand new 'I can't live my life if I don't have this new thing'?"

I've been here just once so far. For a single day (Only D-L, not
Hollywood Studios), during our visit to Paris, as part of a three week
trip around Europe. It was early June of 2010.
I had recently graduated H-S and turned 18.
I must say, their versions of Big Thunder Mountain & Space Mountain
    are the BEST!!
Oh yeah, and I applaud their Pirates OTC for avoiding the movie
    influence updates.
No animatronic Johnny Depp to be found there!
It's also nice to know their Star Tours has kept the original Flight to
    Endor.

Damn I feel old. I was born 4-22-92 and I think Disney Paris opened a week before I was born. 25 is old.

Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas de sous-titrage, tous le monde ne parle pas anglais. Désolé mais je n'ai pas regardé la vidéo en entier
