Doesn't make much difference in the river I don't think but your right when fishing a beach or rock mark I'd definitely prefer rougher conditions for cod. Thanks for watching 👍 🎣

Thanks for watching Ian, I've got 3 pumps, 50mm, 30mm and 28mm and by far 30mm is my favourite. I wouldn't suggest u going any lower than 28mm mate. I'm coming to the island in April, I ll give u a shout couple of days before if u wanna meet up, u can try one of my pumps before u decide on one 👍🎣
