Minnows vs Jigs for Crappie fishing which is better/ Fall Crappie fishing jigs and minnows

Our fishing trip was two fold today. Dave wanted to see how the live-scope works for crappie fishing because he is interested in purchasing one. Secondly he likes to fish minnows and I fish mainly jigs so we want to see which the crappie preferred. Our conclusion was it made no difference to the fish. The biggest difference I saw ,was it took longer to re-bait the hook with a minnow and drop back to the fish.
The crappie were in a feeding mood and they were biting very good .We probably caught 60 crappie in just a few hours.It was a good day!!!
