Don’t forget all the time and effort put in to do this. As well as accounting for eBay getting their share of his profits. Maybe not as great as you would think at the end of it all. But people do like to see pretty numbers.
I picked up a Crown Zenith Galarian Moltres tin for my collection today. The promo card is beautiful, and it seems to be the most popular one since it seems to be the hardest to find, and the even Pokemon Center is sold out of the Moltres tin (Articuno and Zapdos are in stock.). It's a Shinji Kanda piece, the same guy who did the famous Magikarp and Giratina cards.
Wow that was amazing. It’s an interesting route to take. You get to have fun and make a little money. I would have liked to see you crack all those packs too lol.
@Top10Pokemon cool, sorry if I missed that part in the video. I am really on the fence with investing in cardboard, but videos like yours are convincing me.
You still have all the other non gradable hits. This was way more profitable than shown. I know you got a ton of hits out of 140 CZ packs. We’re they just off center?
@arinellis8502 For the risk, his outcome wasn't bad at all you know? It's always a gamble. If more 10s were hit, bigger profit. And vise versa. But hey maybe with PSA selling cards they grade, good luck trusting them. Now I wonder if Beckett has one. Because when 25th anniv. released, I had a perfect metal char, sent it in with the fastest turnaround, and received a completely different card with manufacturer damage. (Was a long battle, ended up getting $600 credit.) But if it was my card I sent, and received a 10, 15k+ value. Sorry I went on a tangent lol. But ya it's always a gamble, but knowing they sell as well as grade, going to be hard to trust that there's no manipulation. Side note: If sending valuable cards, record in depth every inch of the card.
I had a similair experience..i guess thats why they are so expensive the illustration rares. Very hard to find good gradable copies and even then theyll give it an 8 when you think tis a 9/10. psh
Top 10 Pokemon needs Top 10 Glasses for his Charmanders. What you doing grading 9's lol. Now can we do the stamped Charmander next so you can hit some $800 PSA 10 BANGERS :D heart
I like this video never seen 1 like this done this way, I would like more of these here and there wouldn't want you to do this every week 😅😅 700 possible profit isn't bad hopefully you get it and use it to make another!
Their eBay auction account is actually amazing. I don’t know what you mean by manipulation. I have purchased 30+ pokemon slabs from their store. This is how they sell slabs that are in the PSA Vault. A lot of the times it goes back to the seller, minus a % for PSA doing the selling and shipping. I’ve gotten 90% of my auctions on cards go below market price, which is awesome.
How do the taxes work? When he says he spends x amount on a product, does that include taxes? Or do you pay tax on the things you sell on Ebay? It's free to sell on Ebay here in England at the moment.
You have to pay taxes on your sales on eBay if it’s over 600$ a year or something like that, as a form of income at the end of the tax year when you have to do your other taxes.
“Didn’t pan out” made 50% profit. Love this hobby
Our guy sets high standards for himself, 50% ROI is below him.
Not satisfied with anything below 1,000%

Bro gave the community a chance to take his throne then came back and said alright little guys hold my beer 🍺😂
The little guy dancing at the end of the video is gone 😭
Id like to see the follow up to this when everything's sold and what you actually profit if anything. Is that going to be a thing?
That Korean classic collection holo is siiiiick!!
Subtracting the ebay fee of 13% ==> (2,000×0.87)−1,310 = 430 then 430÷1,310 = ~33% ROI
The fees kill ya
Privat account dont pay fees😅
@@ball-e you also pay 13.25% fees on shipping and sales tax costs, your net ends up being closer to 85% sometimes even less.

Really enjoyed this video. Having the back story on what you bought and for how much with the returns in one video was awesome.
Nice video 👍
Very neat video style, has me thinking of grading some cards I normally wouldn't if they're in great shape!
Love this channel. No hype and no Bs. Just cards, numbers, and good information.
You did really well on your Crown Zenith pulls!
Not too bad
Base set Charmander was my very first Pokémon card.
Congratz on 2 gold cards from the Crown Zenith packs!
Opened 400 and got only 1 gold :(
Nice charmander collection ease update when you finish the set
Happy your making videos again

@@samersalama6275 thank you! I cracked them during my time off, didn’t think to record it though.
@ I know it’s a pain and I get why TH-camrs open things off camera.
This was such a cool concept though!
Wut?! *Nine* 9s?? Oof. Ooooh, you got four 10s too. I guess that makes it a bit better.
did you also include the cost for getting those cards graded?
Sure did
Yeah cost him $520 to get them all graded.

After 16% eBay fee, $370 profit, not bad at all!
No that’s a ton of work and risk to make 370 bucks.

Pokémon center stamp charmander PSA 10’s goes for over $700 bucks. 😮
Why didn’t you grade the ray promo card from crown zenith its like $100 in psa 10
DIdn’t realize that.
That's actually a decent value upgrade 🎉
Fun video!
Which Charmander are you missing? Do you have the Base set Dutch, German, etc?

I would be interested to see what your collection looks like at the moment. a video about it would be great :S greetings
Absolutely!
Good contrnt
You did ok TTP
Meh, definitely was disappointed with those Charmanders.
Great video
I love these style videos
Yooo love this type of video man!
Ziemlich cool!
What is the eBay store name? Anyone know?
Getting four tens and nine nines is pretty darn good imo?
I was hoping at least 50/50, turns out they’re tougher to grade than I thought
Come on, you did really well!
Excellent presentation from too ten pokemon never failed to disappoint never and never have with a firm will ❤❤❤
@5:17 I'm sorry, did I literally just say outloud "Wait does PSA really have a flippin ebay account?" That should be illegal.
Why?

You probably ended up making minimum wage after sellers fees and the time you spent on all of this.
If you are doing this to make instant money, you're almost always gonna lose. collecting is about holding things for years.
Glad i dont have to do this crap
After eBay fees, shipping materials and your time, you might come out even. 😢
