    Great Video, it helped a bit. Maybe you can help me, i don´t know what to do else. My Problem is on i40 2015 1.7 CRDI. No oil and only little pressure on dipstick, but a lot of pressure on top. Here's the translation of your text into English:
    "Oil is being pushed out in the direction of the air intake before the turbo due to the crankcase ventilation. That's why I blocked off the hose at that spot. Two years ago, the hose before the turbo rotted away, corroded by the oil that was there. At first, I feared it was the turbo, but it seems okay. In early 2023, I installed an oil separator in between. So, it was valve cover -> separator -> air intake. The separator filled up quickly. I then suspected the crankcase ventilation might be defective. Haven't found it to this day, not even in the valve cover. Then, from September 2023 (at 191,500km - 194,713km), the following work was done:
    1. Return flow quantity test
    2. Replaced 1 injector, oil change, etc. - but the engine was still running hot and there were errors regarding rail pressure in the control unit
    3. Took the head off, found that the walls between the valves on two cylinders were burnt through
    4. Obtained a used cylinder head, had it machined, included 8 valves from the old head and installed it, new timing chain set, new head gasket, new water pump, new serpentine belt set, 4 new glow plugs
    5. Completely cleaned the EGR cooler, cleared the entire intake system of oil (except for the intercooler)
    6. New electronic throttle body
    7. New common rail pressure sensor, new air filter, new fuel filter
    8. New fuel control valve (vacuum side),
    9. 3 additional injectors (cylinders 2,3,4),
    10. New valve cover gasket set at 195,043km
    11. New alternator at 194,713km"

    Hi, I don’t have any smoke or oil coming out from dip stick but some hot air comes out. It it the same as blowby as you explained?

    My 2012 verna is nearing 1 lakh km. It had zero back compression till last week, when I tried evading through not so deep water and ended up ruining my engine. Now smoke jumps out of its oil cap.

    I have Toyota Hilux Vigo.A lot of blowby from the oil cap.Gases are recirculating through intercooler and manifold resulting in a bluish smoke.I have changed the injectors seats already but the same happens.There is no back compression from the please, please and please guide me with your valuable reply, what to check the next. I will be very thankful to you. Thanks a lot.

      check for turbo seal oil leak... after this if smoke is not gone, you have to change piston rings or even use cylinder sleeves.. or buy a half engine

      That's true may be due to DPF filter and increased backpressure

      There should be no blowby at all... if you open engine, you can see wear in piston rings if there is blowby..

    My Creta 1.6 crdi is having little smoke from the oil dipstick but no oil is comming out, but when i accelerate the smoke disappears and goes reverse into the dipstick. Is this normal ? I have 2018 Creta SX(O) 1.6 CRDI.

      Check turbo leak... show at dealer and register smoke from dipstick and engine oil cap complaint.... incase its engine fault, in future if problem arise, you may get engine replaced based on this complaint

    My next gen verna 1.6 d 2017 giving blowby from dipstick , both smoke and oil droplets. Pick up is satisfactory as well as mileage. Should i go for overhaul? If no, how many kms we can drive like this .. already done 160000 kms.

      1.6 diesel are turbo charged, 1.6 petrol are NA.. also there is a 1.4L petrol turbo charged creta and 1L petrol turbo charged verna/i20

    Sir I have Verna 2019 Nov diesel. I am having blow by issue. No loss in power and no smoke from exhaust. Only little smoke comes on hard acceleration. Car is running fine. Please suggest as i am very confused what to do?

      Every verna owner reporting some amount of blow by issue from dipstick...i think it shoud be a normal for verna 1.6 diesel engine

      No it's not normal. It's mainly because of worn out rings. In starting it will seem normal. But trust me it will get worse with time. In my case I was also told that it is normal. But just in time of 2-3 months my car started gulping engine oil like mad. Eventually damaging the turbo also. 1 piston got siezed. I had to change everything inside the engine with repairing the turbo. Costed me more than 1 lakh even when it got repaired by my relative. Trust me get it repaired as soon as you see this issue

    Hello Sir,
    I have purchased new i20 bs6 phase 2, petrol, when I open the oil dipstick there is little oil coming out but no smoke
    However this car is New so no issues in pickup and mileage

    Sir , i had a 2004 Hyundai Accent CRDI .
    I recently overhauled my engine by changing sleves, piston , piston rings , head gasket .
    I had done only 7,500 kms after the overhaul .
    Nov i noticed smoke coming from the dip stick and oil filling port on the valve door .
    But only smoke is coming, the oil is not comming from dip stick.
    Smoke is coming from exhaust also .
    But engine oil level is same .
    Can you please help me to find out what is the problem in my car ?

      @@afteroffice_yt It is not synthetic oil , i used shell rimula r4 15w 40 API CI4 plus. It says it is premium mineral oil.

      You may need to overhaul again.... keep driving, atleast shoukd run 80000 kms like this

    I have 2012 Verna 1.6 my car was full fit n ok ultill i did an egr cleaning and after the egr was cleaned by mechanic my cars turbo spools up now at around 3200rpm and the mechanic is saying the car was some amount of back pressure and it showed now after cleaning

      EGR cleaning has nothing to do with Turbo.. you may want to check your turbo and get a new turbo core..

    Smoke comes from dipstick it is normal.(at only operating temp)
    But small droplets of oil from dipstick in engine weak symptoms.
    As the engine at operating temp the oil starts vaporizing and hence from oil dipstick smoke comes at engine operating temp.
    Dont confuse people 😐😐😐

      If you have seen the whole video, cars with even more than 1lakh KMs has no smoke from dip stick at operating temarature. The engines are in goog condition. There should be no smoke at all. Oil from dip stick suggest even weaker engine and ring conditiion have badly worn out.
      While driving, you may not even realize the difference.. so claim waranty and overhaul.

      Smoke comes due to synthetic oil.
      I have both 1.6 verna and 1.5 creta i have tested both cars at cold start it doesn't give smoke from dipstick and at operating temp it gives smoke.
      Oil consumption does matter to overhaul engine if any engine starts consuming oil 1000km/litre then u have to overhaul engine not only seeing smoke from dipstick.

      Yes, Fully synthetic there is more oil burning issue in a few grades, I have also observed that. Check your injector seals, or nearby your injector for diesel trace.. leak of diesel is also a cause for smoke. But oil spit confirms wear in piston. For slight wear you will never notice any difference, but as it gradually increases, 1L/1000km loss of oil will be noticed..

      Then check the dip stick

      Only in VW, Audi, Skoda due to temp smoke is seen... dont be fooled with japanese and korean cars..no smoke from these cars
