Sean's channel is absolutely one of my top favourite ones on YT. I don't know him personally and never even talked to him but he looks very humble and has got a great vision on photography. He has influenced, motivated and inspired me in so many ways and I just love him. I'm extremely thrilled to see his five images. Thank you so so much Jeff for conducting this series. As Edward said on the last episode, you are doing a really huge thing for the photography community. I really hope other great people like you copy this channel then start their own stuff in their own way. I could kiss you if I happened to meet you in person(and please, you'd have to say no 😂)

I love this series. I am learning about so many photographer I did not know about. I have been following Sean's work for sometime now. Of the five images, Bresson's and McCurry's images are on my fave list. Picking only five is such a challenge as we all have a lot more than five images that have influenced us. Great series. I have sent links to my photographer friends. I want them to get inspired as I have. Thank you.
Agree with Sean’s choices here and just a comment about Steve McCurry’s stilt fishermen photo. Sean is right and these days the fishermen will only ‘perform, if the cash is revealed. However, from a technical point, Steve had to overcome the challenge of the choppy sea in this part of Sri Lanka and getting this close to the action, because I tried to replicate Steve’s shot and failed to do so. He had to be in a boat and close to the fishermen to make this photo, which is a practical challenge and I couldn’t manage it myself. The brilliance of the photo, is of course enhanced by his use of Kodachrome, which was his main film stock at the time; a magical transparency film which has never been beaten, in terms of colour rendition. My own colour work has never been the same, since Kodachrome disappeared.
