YES!! It’s live and her voice is that good. She sang this at the Grammy’s tribute to The Bee Gees in 2016 with Barry sitting on the front row. I was privileged to be there, and it was stunning!! She opened by dedicating it to Robin, Maurice, Andy, and her husband and brother. She said the song had even more meaning to her with the passing of time and lived ones. My interpretation is that it’s a statement from the deepest core of Barry and his brothers. They had a dream as children, worked hard, took the rejection, and kept believing in themselves. Even after they had achieved the highest success, there was rejection, but they just worked all the harder to prove themselves. Through the body of work they leave behind, they will be remembered. The words are powerful. “I have found a dream that must come true, Every ounce of me must see it through. I will make them all remember me,” or “I will make them give to me, Immortality. There is a vision and a fire in me,” and “They cannot take away what you have given me.” If you know their catalog, you know their talent. If you know their story, you know the industry was not always kind. Barry said his mission now is to keep the music, and in some way, his brothers, alive. Thanks for being a part of it.
You should check out Barry's live performance with Barbara Streisand of Guilty. The Bee Gees wrote it for her & it's a duet with Barry in her backyard. There's also a video of Guilty along with What Kind of Fool....performed at the same event back to back that's just excellent!🎼
Immortality was written by The Bee Gees for Celine and in the studio recording they did the backup singing. There’s also a very nice music video of Immortality with Celine as a ghost walking around and featuring The Bee Gees. Please do more Bee Gees reactions, thank you.
Definitely live and my favourite BEE GEES song written especially for CELINE, they have also written songs for Barbara Streisand, Diana Ross ,Diane Warwick Dolly Parton ,and a whole lot more the BEE GEES had hits in every decade since they made their television debut in the early 60s in Australia . Their performance when Barry was14 and the twins were 11 and they had great harmony even then , check it out you won't be disappointed .

Great song and performance. While Robin could play the piano and the melotron (first instrument in the Too Much Heaven video) it was Mo playing here. Morris played multiple instruments, but bass guitar and organ/piano mostly
Robin also played the harp, piano accordion. keytar, guitar and I think violin. Just because he didn't like to play on stage doesn't mean he couldn't. He preferred to use instruments as song writing tools.
Yes back then the Artists sang the Songs Live. They had to have the talent to sound as good or better than their recorded versions.
