Jo Kwon honestly talked about people's assumptions about his sexuality. On April 13th, Jo Kwon guested on KBS Joy's 'Ask Us Anything Fortune Teller.'
During the talk, Jo Kwon revealed that being active in various variety shows after his military service will bring him back to his previous character of 'Kkab Kwon.'
As you might have also known, Jo Kwon has been famous for his sassy character.
Regarding this, Jo Kwon remarked, "After dancing so many girl group dances, a lot of people had strange misunderstandings about me. That was really difficult for me."
Jo Kwon referred to people's assumptions about his sexuality. He added, "J.Y. Park had told me to do anything that would make people laugh at first."

I’m LGBT, and I think it would be nice for korean LGBT youth to have someone to look up to. If he is, then he should be proud. If he isn’t, that’s fine too, we can still look up to him for breaking stereotypes. Who he loves doesn’t change anything in my eyes

@@yobiwolrd07 actually not, if you search up there's a guy called Holland he's a soloist and he's very talented, he had assumed his sexuality and well.. he still being an amazing singer, and that's a lot a people that support him (me as one of them). So i think i would be fine, and also I'm not pretending to assume JoKwon sexually.

He still never confirmed nor denied being gay, I can imagine he meant being Korean and famous makes this the actual problem. People assume he's gay, and if he isn't, it's just annoying, if he is, his popularity would sink here and there because Asia is still stuck up and living in some other century making our lives hard. If he really disliked being the person he is, he wouldn't be it anymore. He's a grown man who makes his own decisions now. Sure the kab(?)Kwon thing is funny but many other thinga he does aren't just for the sake of humor. Also, as a gay male myself I always looked up to him for doing what he loves dispite gay people being so frowned upon in Korea

Tbh we should never assume anyone's sexuality even being heterosexual. I totally get when ppl are lgbt+ and find idols relatable and like to think theyre in the same boat and hope for more representation, I do it to. But it definitely shouldnt be annouced everywhere in a serious manner if theyve never said anything about it etc
Period. One should never assume someone's sexuality based on the physical appearance and what they wear. What i do not get is making a claim on an idol being gay, then others from the lgbtq+ communtiy tell that it's a joke and that they find comfort from that and they tell that it's not making an assumption? I think that we are his international fans and even tho we show him love , he always waits for his Korean fans to accept him , we can't understand nor control their mindset and culture we should respect it

Me personally, I don't support the LGBTQ+ Community, but since every person on earth has the right to do anything with anyone in their bed, it's an ok from me
Also, I don't have a problem associating with people who belong in this community. We can even be best friends. I can be the purest person when meeting an LGBTQ+ member and imma respect them, but as long as they also respect my personal favorite things like sexuality, for example. Everybody say NO to racism and prejudices : )
