This might be one of my "more favorite" of your videos. Direct how-to for some of us trying to do a first setup, without interjecting some of the "aspects of confusion" for that first timer. (IMHO) Just a simple do it this way, it will work and look decent to give a start to work from.
Great job explaining. For the past couples of years my display used dumb LED lights. 32 individual output choreographed to music. I programmed using vixen software on my computer wired to a maga 2650 board. This year I would like to get into pixel lights starting with a couple of props, a falcon f16v4 controller and xlights. I was wounder if you knew when I program my new props in xlights could I add my maga 2650 as a second controller using a couple of my old songs?
It should be able to work. There is a Vixen importer in xlights that works okay, and I don't know much about the Mega 2650's, but if it works with Vixen, it should be able to work in xLights - they both use the same types of protocols to communicate with controllers.
I can not wait to finally get my first layout up! I am hoping it will be this year, but it might not be until next year.!
