I took a year off on my show and just found out about AutoLyrics as I was starting to put together my show for 2024. I feel like you just gave me an extra 20 hours of my life back. Thank you for the video and thank you to the devs for this great tool!!
I was able to use it for Introductions/ Voiceovers without any issue. Just make sure the audio is clear, without any "umms" ahh"s or other human "buffering"... or those noises are added into the text / lyrics you submit with the audio.
@@xTremeSequences Absolutely agree! Any tips you have as a content creator to those of us that are more used to shiny things than voice acting? V/O sounds simple, but reality is more Nuanced
Ok,y you are my savior. Im doing an Xlights Christmas project with 10grade students and running out of time, as the show should be displayed by Dec 1. This has just helped us by A LOT!
Ron, my man, you are my hero! A little background. As a recently retired newbie possessing novice+ computer skills who's been watching your videos, and some others, alongside the Xlights sequencer on a split screen. It's been, Watch Ron-Pause Ron-Do what Ron just did-Play Ron-Repeat Ad Infinitum. With no Christmas lights experience, except for some boring C9 strings from Home Depot, I dreamed at night of doing more. I bought a custom Coro model of a boy holding a blanket from a popular Christmas cartoon show. Not sure about copyrights, but his download name is Blanket Boy, aka L****s. Since, I've added Boscoyo's Nativity Set and a whole bunch of other models that I'm running out of place to store. Amongst Blanket Boy's 300+ pixels lies the moving mouth I requested, already plugged into the little guy's node layout. I scoured the web for a downloadable version of Blanket Boy's telling of the real meaning of Christmas. After 2 days, success. Converted mp4 to mp3, dragged the file and pasted the boy's Bible verses into Auto Lyrics. Fingers crossed, waited and waited and waited for Auto Lyrics to go from Processing to Download. Duh, I remembered someone saying refresh the page. Bingo. Between Ron and the Xlights Tutorial the mouth was given color. Finally, with great trepidation, but with Ron's encouragement, the sequence was opened in Xlights. With one eye closed I pressed the play arrow button. No mouth movement. Wait, Ron mentioned the timing track in the Faces effect. WTH, mine was empty. In desperation, right clicking the New Timing-Import Lyrics, (somewhere I'd seen this??) I copied and pasted the boy's Bible verses into the box. Voila! It works perfectly with no further adjustments. Long post, but I wanted to say something more than "Great video, Ron," Have a terrific vacation.
I'm so glad the tutorial helped you. xLights can be very difficult to use for many. Nicely done and I appreciate you taking the time to share your story.
I was very intimidated to try singing faces this year. It's my first year in Xlights. After watching your video i was able to do it in like 5 min. Thanks for the information.
I could only describe this new sequencing tool as FANTASTIC, with such simplicity and yet a product of complexity, great job to all involved, Thanks Ron for sharing this with the Xlights community,
I couldn't agree more. The original version of this was problematic and slow. The work that Ben Dudley and Jim put into making this a valued resource goes without saying.
This is cool! I HATE doing singing faces just for the amount of time it would take me to get the motions as perfect as possible. I think this will drastically reduce time and i will give it a shot. Thanks.
How are the faces them self created? And is there software. Could you do a monday minute on creating one. With open mouth and or closed mouth. ? Thanks. Mack W
First of all thank you for the great content. I’m just getting into this hobby and I’m super excited. Keeping it very simple this year with two talking lightbulbs and some outlining of my house. I just followed your instructions and it seemed to download as intended but how can I get the lightbulbs to sing there lines by themselves. Male sings his verses and female sing hers. When I downloaded as you instructed both face sing all the lyrics. The song is “baby it’s cold outside” Thank you for any help.
Hi Ron! I am trying my first singing faces and was following a long. First of all, I love the video. I have been watching your videos lately and have really enjoyed them. I am trying a song where I was not really happy with the way the timing track turned out on the website. I am playing with "Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas". I was not happy with the Phoneme section for many of the words. Is there a way to change the Phoneme section for each word?
The .xtiming lyric tracks work with xLights. People have gotten Govee lights to work with xLights. If you can do this and have a singing face model in xLights, I see no reason why this would not work.
Do you have a tutorial anywhere that would show me how to put one person's singing part on one face and another singing part on a different face? In other words, a duo and each face is singing their own part.
@@xTremeSequences unfortunately all of the words for both people singing came across on only one timing track. It's a duet where they're both singing their own part.
@@xTremeSequences I really appreciate you trying to help but unfortunately that didn't work. It is not recognizing one distinct voice as the lead vocal and the other voice as "background". I still have just one track with both voices signing but again, I appreciate you trying to help me.
You might contact ABBA's management to tell them this information. LOL! I have no idea why so maybe leave a message with the contact information in AutoLyrics.
Just a tip. The new paid version (about $300) of DaVinci Resolve Studio 18.5 has a feature that can do a speech to text capture if you don't have the lyrics already. I haven't tried it yet, but it might help.
Depending on the ammount of time you are willing to put into it you can create multiple lyrics and isolate each part. As far as the audio not being in sync you can deleselect all timings, select them, and use the arrow key right or left to nudge them ever sol slightly until they line up.

Glad I could help, Mike.
Thank you! This 70-year-old absolute beginner is super excited to be as efficient as I am cheap!
Thank you Ron. I was just working through this on a sequence the hard way. Really appreciate your passion for helping others in the community.
I glad it helped.
I can't wait to try. Would this work for regular voice recordings also?
I would think so.

Others have created the matrix singing faces that are included in xLights.

Got a question can you add these singing faces to a govee light show?

You simply add the same singing face effect to the second face and choose a toming track.

You can use Moise.ai to separate background vocals from the lead vocals and run them both through AutoLyrics.@@MichaelHaggard

Where do I go for MP3 files

as a member of the 1st and 2nd singing faces group... THIS is so much easier and faster, just have to give it a little tweak here and there
That's great to hear. I know many will benefit from it.
Makes me want to sequence faces again.
Just goes to show we may be a small island, yet with big ideas! Well done to those creators. Hope there is a way for people to donate somehow!

i uploaded abba song it is a mp3 and the lyrics i get error it's not a mp3

Good to know. I have never had an issue finding lyrics to music.
What about multiple singers singing at the same time, but not in sync?
I used to offset the non-lead singers by oh, half a second of so.
