Idgaf what it’s labeled, don’t care about “satanic” or devil worship. This kind of music makes me fkn smile and want to pick up my guitar. With all the fake bs shoved down our throats everyday in the world, it feels good to listen to music like this and feel somethin real somewhere in there through all the noise and chaos. It’s like a nice hot bath for my cold black heart.

I'll take the memory of opening for this band in my hometown to my very grave. I was a fan for 16 years and they finally came to our islands and we completely blew the roof off of the venue with the best set and performances of our lives. You say you were listening to Dark Funeral in the early 90s? Their first album wasn't released until 1996 unless you were listening to their EP or some demo that I don't know about, in which case you were super early.

Band should have been filmed in the forest. Too much computer generated nonsense for my liking. Where's the bassist? Has he already left the band? All in all this is an awesome song, and I'm looking forward to hearing the entire album! Nothing against Masse Broberg, but I'm thinking this is their best album since Secrets of the Black Arts.

Received one of my pre-orders for Where Shadows Forever Reign in the post today and fuuuuucking hell this album is awesome! I have no doubt that it will not disappoint other fans as well. Of course I don't think Dark Funeral has ever disappointed their fans since every release of theirs is amazing.

I liked the song structure, it was way better than your generic black metal formula, lots of nice subtleties. Heljarmadr vocals are amazing, very discernible. Also great guitar tone, very crisp and cutting.

The instrumentation is good and all but the vocalist is just simply amazing. His diction is great and you can understand him immediately on just first listen while still maintaining the br00tal vocals.
Agreed. I think too few metalheads will openly admit this problem with the genre (for fear they won't look truly "kvlt" or something), many bands have poor clear pronunciation and you either need multiple listens or a damn lyric sheet to figure out what's being said (I've been listening to metal for 25-years and this is still the case). It's always nice to find a band that has awesome vocals and is clear.
