The thing is Sean doesn't want to see her, plus it's unfair to Stacy wos been at her mom's side and still the mother could give two kips about her, Jean should stop fawning over Sean and appreciate Stacy more. Stacy had to watch her mom almost kill herself, traumatized her whole childhood dealing with her mom on her own how many times now and yet ppl blather on about Sean needing to be there.

That’s partly why she hardly wanted anything to do with Stacey in those early episodes (not that she was right to be like that but sometimes parents do favour one child over the other/s).
I thought Stacy's sickness was bad but Jean's is so sad. She prob snapped when Daniel died. When she was w/Harvey her mind prob saw him as Daniel. The mind is a delicate thing

You're correct. Mental health conditions will never be given the level of respect that physical conditions are afforded. My aunt had a heart attack followed by a stroke 14 years ago. She is in a wheelchair and requires round the clock care. In spite of all the wicked things she says due to her condition, we all accept it as the illness talking not her. Society as a whole can do this because people can see an old lady who is wheelchair bound and paralysed on one side. If a person with poor mental health said the same things it would be a different story.
I saw Gillian Wright completely by chance in August 2013, in the Old Town in Stockholm. She was with a lady who was in a wheelchair and it looked like Ms Wright was struggling to manoeuvre her through the doorway. I offered to assist but it went ignored sadly.

Manic behavior or no it hurts because this should be considered the darkest times and your mother throws her own unhappiness in your face to beat you down. @RblxCherylVEVO you do realize I've stated over and over that despite it being a symptom its still hurtful what Jean's doing. That's the whole point. I know it's part of the illness, doesn't excuse or temper the pain inflicted due to said symptom
From your comments I can tell you’re a bit dense when it comes to metal illness but I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and explain it for you just in case you genuinely don’t know. As the doctor said they have upped her medication to help her stabilize but getting her brain used to the new dosage can take a while and come with side effects like; mood suppression, induced catatonic state, confusion and just overall numbness
