    Best 737 ever. Spend my life flying from inuvik to edmonton one the 200. They still use them here for the gravel airstrip

    Dad flew this one when it was a Dome Petroleum frame. He flew it also for PWA and Canadian. A very old frame dating to 1980. I certainly miss him>>>>

    When I was a kid, Canadian was my favorite airline, simply because of the big red chevron on the aircraft tails. Flew them many times from Edmonton to Toronto for family get-togethers... So special to see this relic still flying.

    Great work, Just Planes! I've been watching last year since I was 12, and THIS has prompted me to love aviation and want to be a pilot someday! Also, watching these CLASSICS still operating nowadays is a pleasure! I just hope that the pandemic will END soon and aviation will return to normal.
    Also, a great Christmas gift for aviation enthusiasts!

    So quiet in the cockpit...sweet. And man did he ever grease that landing. Holy cow!!

    • @4005Player
      @4005Player 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The reason it's quiet is because the sound is coming through the coms....the 732 pit is a pretty noisy place (as are the newer variants).

    loved your video. The 737 has come through many iterations and it was nice to see one from near the beginning still going well. This also gives context as to why the 737MAX may be the the one that 'broke the camel's back'.

    Love the walkaround; that classic old plane is beautiful and amazing. This pilot is very detailed during the walk around. Awesome takeoff and landing that sounds amazing. Love the cabin window view of the wing and engine. The view outside these windows is beautiful with amazing skies, landscape, and the city below. Great friendly pilots, the classic beauty of a plane, and the joys to see and hear everything were all amazing. Love the different camera positions as well. Awesome video, I love it.

    Pilots use take off and landing check lists, why not a preflight walk around inspection checklist? Secondly , why don't they have a pull down plumb line to help with spatial orientation/awareness in difficult , confusing in-flight situations?

    how come the pilots and the ATC always seem so relieved every time they nail a landing Lol

    • @johnpooky84
      @johnpooky84 ปีที่แล้ว

      Aside from the fact that it's an old plane (the last 737-200 was delivered in 1988), any landing you can walk away from is a relief.

    Remarkable how far the 737 evolution has come. It does seem to be the worst possible design for gravel operations though.
