Gilbert Arenas reacted to former NBA player Rex Chapman's commentary about Michael Jordan's unique advantage - his huge hands. According to Chapman, Jordan's hands were unusually large, allowing him to play in an entirely different manner. Jordan's ability to snatch the ball with one hand and alter its trajectory effortlessly was attributed to his large hands. Additionally, Gilbert Arenas agreed with Chapman, stating that the size of Jordan's hands was truly a significant advantage on the court. Arenas further discussed the ability of great players like Jordan to adapt and be successful in any era, attributing this not only to their skill but also to their physical attributes and competitive spirit. - บันเทิง
“Suck it back all in one motion” is NASTY WORK!!!!!
"reach out and grab it with one hand. and then suck it back all in one motion" "the ball is like a grapefruit in his hand" no diddy
💀💀💀

😂😂i need a woman that can do that
Aye yo lol. 😂

@hooligan5381 yea
Jordan's one hand ball fake was hilarious
🤣🤣🤣it sure was
facts 😂
Not as hilarious as Lebron's flops
@@onyx9857get lebrons balls out your mouth lol you fan girls find any reason to bring his name up. I think you secretly wanna deep throat the man.
Vlad don’t watch basketball
Large hands for his height and small feet for his height; perfect combo for basketball, and he took full advantage.
Size 13 isn't necessarily small for a guy his size
"Get ya hands on loose balls" 😂😂
😂😂😂
2:14 Gils face 😂
Jordan can also throw a football like 60 yards. Look at him throw the football on Michael Jordan's Come Fly With Me documentary
*Michael Jordan's Air Time
Gil: Way bigger than mines
Jordan: That's what she said 😂
They have been talking about MJ's hands since his UNC days Vlad the DJ??? This is old news? 👀
Facts
When he was an active player it was talked about way more. But after he retired, it's been largely overlooked.
Especially by fans who didn't get to see him play live.
@@cyber6sapienYeah but Vlad and I are the exact age born on June 28, 1973. He is 50 years his hand size and Doctor J' s have always been discussed as much as their jumping and hang time ability!!!
I love how you address this topic with such honesty.
A Lebron fanboy tried to argue with me in the comment section of that Chapman video that Jordan’s large hands wasn’t an advantage. Even Gilbert who is a platinum member Bronsexual agrees than having large hands was an advantage. Even Kobe envied MJ’s and Dr J’s huge hands and Kobe was highly skilled himself. Large hands are an undeniable asset in basketball period. Look up the video of Jordan snagging a rebound out of the air with one hand against the Hawks and shooting off that rebound in one motion.
😂😂😂. Having a dad and uncle play in the NBA is a huge advantage. Refusing to play only for a glamorize franchise is an advantage.
Yes, Exactly. There is also a video on TH-cam where they flat out asked Phil to pick between who wins one on one with Kobe vs MJ.
Phil says it's gonna be MJ, because "he has those hands".
Platinum member Bronsexual 😂😂😂😂
Phil Jackson said this two decades ago. And Kawhi Leonard have the SAME hands hence the nickname The Claw
He ain't got that fade-away jumper tho
@@coreysanders6197Who don't? Kawhi?
I think kawhi has slightly smaller hands length wise but bigger width
@@GyjtrdfhjThe point is their hands are similar in size
Jordan’s palms are bigger than Kawhis. Fingers probably are probably same length.
This WHOLE conversation is WILD!! Ayo ⏸️
Also, his god-tier/otherworldly athleticism and basketball I.Q., which set him apart from everyone else.
Dr. J had big arse hands too, but couldn't shoot.
Get his meat out your mouth
Plenty guys are athletic. Phil Jackson talked about his hands too
I'm speaking facts dumba**. You must be a bronsexual.

Gil always try to go outta his way to make it seem like he saying some smart 5hit
How does he do that? I guess I'm not smart enough to spot it. I think Vlad does it much more.
Facts
He hates Jordan so he is always trying. To diss him subliminally. Everyone should want to win but they don’t. Gil acts like winning. Is a bad thing
@@williamannette558 I agree
Real shit lmao I thought I was the only person who noticed that
Nique has some huge hands as well. I am 6'4 and shook his hands a couple of times and his hands are huge.
Yup. Vince as well. Huge hands probably really helps with one handed dunks as well. In addition to the large hands, Jordan also had a wide thumb.
Helped him with gripping the ball even better than another person with hands of similar size but who didn't have a wide thumb (Kawhi). There is a video
clip on TH-cam where Jordan talks about it.
No diddy 😂😂..this whole video

Right 💀😂🤣😂
The people who say “The 90s are trash” had to say it. These fools realized by saying Jordan was trash was inadvertently saying “If the goat was trash then everybody in his era had to be too because we can’t call the most awarded player ever trash if the other players weren’t either”

Bunch of undercover blades in the comments 😂
Gay blades?
“Can you palm a basketball?” Hilarious
Not the "Suck It Back all in one motion" 😂😂😂
This is proof that Gil just be trolling the ol school NBA on his podcast🤣

Glad talking about basketball to a NBA allstar is crazy! Not to mention, A.I had long arms and big hands also, hence his crossover…
Anthony Mason goat dribbler
Shovelhands.
This conversation is crazy.
AYYYYYYYY YO!!!!
Dr J has big hands too.
he did talk about his hands on that Ophrah interview
Immediately Gil said, "Kawhi type hands.."
Gil basically just said “Organization wins championships!”
Dennis Rodman would DOMINATE this league
For sure
@@randallhood7308Indeed
Dennis Rodman would be a worse defender in this era
@@ChrisRYAN-vk4ndEither yo, young man
Absolutely
I didn’t hear Rex’ breakdown prior to this but halfway into him talking before he credited Mike’s shooting…..I was thinking about Rondo’s hands while knowing that he wasn’t a consistent shooter
So if MJ’s hands are notably big that is pretty wild that he’s also known for being a clutch shooter
And Rex is right forget a grapefruit….its weird shooting a mini ball
💯💯💯 same with quarter backs.
Make sense what gilbert arenas said towards the end about the mind..
NO DIDDY 😂
I thought his hand size was pretty obvious as being one of his advantages and I didn't even grow up in that era. Thats part of how he was able to control the ball so well. Its not too many dudes with that kinda hand size and control.
WTF. Even Phil Jackson mentioned this when he was asked about Kobe vs Jordan. This is so old, and apparently only vlad never heard of it.
Kawhi has the same huge hands he's just not as fast, athletic, fluid, and agile as MJ was. His robotic movements and slow first step limit him in some ways. He utilized his hands more so on the defensive end. That's what helped him win DPOY twice.
Not only that people have to really study Michael Jordan’s game he was one of the craftier players who relied a lot on technique and where he was on the court he almost broke the game down to a science he was at his best when he got to his sweet spot on the court the way he would break down players not only on defense when I’m offense as well is something that is a lost art.
Funny thing is, Gilbert says Jordan's hands are way bigger than his, then you look at Gilbert's hands, and they're huge. Mike was definitely a physical freak...
I have a idea 💡 The NBA should do a old school prayer VS new school 5 on 5 full court for All Start weekend. The old school prayers got 6 mths to get in basketball shape. We will see who can still pray in this era of basketball
That doesn't sound like too bad of an idea but it seems like most of the MF that be out the league more than a year let themselves go something savage. So it wouldn't really be "old school" players. They might not even make it up and down the court more than once 🥵
You Chinese bruh?
@@spvzonthetrack9957lmao! 😂
I’d say cantaloupe, grapefruit is just wild…
Imagine shooting dice on with Micheal Jordan 😂😂😂
So funny he said that. That “I” ball gets you seen and gets you paid, but doesn’t necessarily translate to wins in team sports. It can with the right team around you, but that team would have to be damn near perfect and egoless. Why I always said Magic is truly the greatest who ever lived
Getting your hands on loose balls is crazy 😂😂😂
Last part he's describing Phil Jackson.
I think it was seeing a guy driving to the hole with his tongue wagging out like a dog gave jordan an advantage too because if i was playing defense against him and saw it, i would either try to avoid him from spitting on me or be scared he was going to bite his tongue off but opposing players never mentioned that.

Grab it like a grapefruit is crazy
This has been talked about for decades with Mike lmao. Mainstream media so full of hot takes but don’t realize (ayoo at suck it back) how athletically and genetically gifted Mike was. And he was one of the most fundamentally sounded players ever (thanks Dean Smith).
Gil hit this one on the nail...
Doctor Jay had huge hands also
Ive shaken MJ hands. Definitely huge. Boxer Larry Holmes has the biggest hands ive ever shaken. Like a literal giant hands
Dr J had larger hands😂
This happened because he used to hang from a pool to try and grow i think I always thought about that
It’s true it is an advantage but people are really finding reasons why MJ was so good. No player has ever been picked a part like MJ. People are really finding reason to dismiss on why he was so good lol
Hands on loose balls is crazy
Even shaq talks about mikes hands. His shit mustve looked like a outfielders glove
BS, he came from a two parent household with two bothers and a sister, played at UNC coach by Dean Smith, then USA Basketball coach by Bobby Knight. The man know how to work with others and be part of a team but has the ability to do it himself if need be and most of the time he had to do it himself.
Rondo hands wAS THE SAME SIZE HE COULDNT SHOOT FREETHROWS
Correct
It’s tough that’s why he used the tennis ball reference
Same size as MJ? Nope
Shawn Kemp couldn't even palm a basketball
People just be lying 😂😂😂
He is 85% on point
“Get your hands on loose balls” 🤢🤢my GOD 😩 pause
I really hate hearing Vlad talk sports
why are you here
Naw, it was that fade-away jumper
I don’t agree about the 1-trick pony rebounder not able to adapt in the current NBA. Rodman would benefit from so many 3PA in today’s game.
How would Rodman benefit?
@@ChrisRYAN-vk4nd Modern NBA teams emphasize three-point shooting more than they used to, which results in more missed shots. Three-point shots generally lead to longer rebounds when missed, which spreads out players and creates more rebound opportunities. Additionally, the faster pace of play in today’s game leads to more possessions per game, and thus more shots are taken. Both factors contribute to increased rebound opportunities in the current NBA.
Even Kobe recognized that MJ's hands gave him huge advantage allowing him to do different things in the air.
Gil been wildin with his mouth the past month.
Mj the 🐐... now its the hands 👐 😂
Phil Jackson said same thing Phil picked mj over Kobe because of Jordan’s hands
MJ n Dr J are the only humans I've seen dribble the ball with 1 hand and pick it up with the same hand all in 1 motion.
"NO GILLY"
Rex is a nutcase
Rajon Rondo got them hands too
Jordan magic bird isaah Thomas pippen and then shaq penny hardaway Reggie miller. Greatest era in basketball history and made the nba such a big business!
They supeonad Gilbert to come to Vlad u seeing him more on here
Jerry Krause. He was that guy.
Combination of Krause team builder and and Phil Jackson coach
@@thestarvingdjs Absolutely sir. Krause is the reason Phil Jackson got to coach the Bulls though.
I believe he would have eventually become a great success anyway, but he wouldn't have the championships and experience that comes with coaching that dynasty, without Krause betting it all on Phil Jackson and Tex Winters.
But it's such a difficult disadvantage for big men shooting?
No Diddy 🗣️
Get your hand on loose balls while talking about big hands is crazy 😂 jk
Nobody ask Gil bout the gun situation..
Seeing how Bron is dominating these young players should put the "older players can't play in current eras" argument to rest.

Lol hands were part of MJs dominance...mindset, skill and athleticism were a vital component too
What size glove does Jordan wear? 🤔 I wear a XXXL sized glove.
You have huge hands. Jordan’s hands are 9.75” long from base to tip of middle finger and 11 3/8” wide from thumb to pinky. Now measure yours and compare
@@nybiggs cool, I'll measure my hands once i get home😎
@@nybiggs from thumb to pinky I'm only 6 1/2". From middle finger to base, I'm only 8". 😕 Jordan's hands are crazy big!
@@PANTYEATR1 You're supposed to splay out your fingers when you measure hand width. There's no way your hands are only 6'1/2" wide. Width is always larger than length unless you have the stubbiest fingers. My very average 7 1/4" hands are 9" wide.
@@nybiggs oh ok, splayed i measure pinky to thumb 9 1/2”.
Draymond is less than a 1 trick pony 😂😂
