I sort of agree but I still think you can give an opinion on them if they are asking for money as some early access games are great out of the gate.....and the whole idea of early access is to get feedback good or bad, I think the problem with many channels is they often do not check in with the game to see if it had the support
Agreed. A list like this should be reserved for games presenting themselves as a completed project. Identifying and correcting shortcomings is entirely the point of early access.
2024 was a year I spent visiting old / recent favorites rather than new games. The Horizon and Spider-man series, Rock Band.... heck even spending time with Mario Galaxy and playing at retro 80s arcades was way better than anything that came out this year. OK, well Animal Well and AstroBot were nice surprises.
@@shannonbayley3684 Bad games and games that sell poorly aren't the same thing. ET 2600 and Pac-Man 2600 sold millions (yes, the infamous causes of the 1983 crash), while there are always hidden gems that were simply overlooked at the time.
I was 50 50 on sucide squad kills the justice league. On the one hand i hated the mirotransations, live service elements, repetitive side quests, terrible seasons, and some of the writing sucked. But the other aspects i loved and got unnecessary hate
@masterrk7298 I loved the story, chaotic gameplay, cutscenes, music, look of the open world, voice acting, traversal, look of characters, graphics, Easter eggs
"Perhaps owing to Supermassive Games pedigree as an interactive storytelling tour de force"? Really? Someone show me these games that prove that because damn. Last I checked, the one game that really put them on people's radar is one that folks realize wasn't all that good when the 'remake' came out.
To me, the problem with the sucicde squad centers around the makers of the game, not giving consumers what they wanted. Thanks to the steam sale, I just rolled credits on that game like a week ago, and it is a better "game" than a lot of other live service looter shooters. Historically, live service looter shooters typlically have a serviceable story and some kind of repetitive loop that hooks people. In regards to the story, as someone who likes to laugh and enjoys sucicde squad/Deadpoolesque movies, this is what I expected. Personally, I am not attached to the characters, so I did not struggle with the sucicide squad killing the justice league. I played a lot of games this year, and this is not even close to the worst but to each his own. This is a fun pallet cleanser game that you can pick up and play. Merry Christmas!
Suicide Squad is terrible but I 100% disagree about GI Joe. GI Joe is the best Joe game to come out on a console. It totally captures the nostalgia of the 80's hit series. The minor things lacking are a vehicle mode and a wider selection of Joes. This was a great first start and if the devs choose to make a sequel, then I would hope those ideas are added. I would be more than willing to donate to a Kickstarter if they need crowd funding to make another chapter. Missing on this Bad games 2024 list are Star Wars Outlaws and Texas Chainsaw. Star Wars Outlaws: character is annoying and uninspiring; gameplay missions are boring and it was a huge letdown for Star Wars fans. It seems like everything Star Wars is crap these days. The Skeleton Crew is a fun show, but as the saying goes, "A broken clock is right twice a day". I digressed but getting back to my point, Outlaws is a live service game, so the expectation to deliver a banger is much higher because the client has to keep paying to play. Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Another massively disappointing game. This was the heir apparent when Gun Media support for Friday the 13th the Game ended. The maps offer very little challenge for 'victims' to escape. Often, they troll the family toons. Due to game flaws, many gamers do not want to play as family and opt to play as victims. Gun's answer to this problem was not to correct their shoddy maps, but to impose a 3-minute time out if someone leaves the lobby before the game starts. This forces gamers to play with characters they may not want to use or with known hackers who exploit the game. Back to the game itself, they removed one of the better features that allowed players to random roll perks to make their toon more efficient. Victims have way too much power with the Fight or Flight perk allowing them to continue to stun Family members almost at-will for a long amount of time. This also leads to the trolling. Rush Week was recently released, and it feels rushed indeed. Victims can escape easily before you even see them. Just a bad game and after the 31st, this DbD and my next feature Killer Klowns are all that is left. Killer Klowns from Outer Space: Not sure where to begin on this one. Extremely unbalanced, more of chore than fun. Just a bad game overall.
@ Yeah. The whole conversation around Starfield has been bizarre from the start. The game has been doing well with the player base, so it’s been a success overall.
Absolute rubbish list. Pretty sure these guys were recently acquired (among many) by a D E I parent company. Thus you won't find the actual worst games on here.
I see a lot of non-gamers asking why Outlaws isn't on the list. Because it was freaking awesome! I'll give you all disappointing maybe. But it was far from being one of the worst.

Early access games should not be reviewed until they are officially released.

OK thanks for your opinion dad
No worries, son.
Which game is in early access? Did they have to pay for it?
Concord? SW: Outlaws? Skull & Bones? Better to have included those games instead of the early access games
SW outlaws weren't too bad, but rest, yep
Single player games???
may as well warn us early access may give game as good as "no man skies" or bad as multiversus
Dragon age the wokeguard too
Single player 🤦♂️
Suicide squad kill the justice league was such a awful game
What the hell is this list? Also why is alone in the dark on here, it wasn’t perfect I get that, but it didn’t deserve to be on this list
Horrible list
You disagree?
How so?
Why does every ninja turtles game have to be a beat em up? ugggh
Because its ninja turtles i guess
0:39 Was that a glitch in the matrix

Anyone else catch that weird audio anomaly at 0:41 ?

Conviently left off dragon age. Terrible list
I must be confused on the meaning of "single player".
No Star Wars Outlaw, DA Veilguard, Dustborn, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn?
Outlaws isn't a bad single player game.
@@jsutton0010The fact no one bought it and it bombed hard begs to differ.

Can't go wrong with a 4.99 game KTJL 🤣🤣
Why would you include early access when all these big AAA games sucked so much harder....
Alone in the dark should've been made by blooper studio...
