      I can’t remember, do I say in the video? If you have a 9200 series Carrier you can Google it and you’ll find the exhaust/inducer units for sale everywhere.👍👍

      @@116falconer Hi there. Do you know how to pop off the bottom panel (the one that houses the command board) Looks like there are some screws on top the the panel. I want to change out the filter on my 9200 Series Carrier furnace. The tech came out in the fall and replaced the filter during the annual check-up. But it has been a little more then 3 months and I know it needs to be replaced again at least one more time during the heating season. What type of tool do I need to remove the screws off the panel?

      @@Chris2745100 to change the filter you shouldn't need to remove anything other than the door to the filter box, the furnace in the video has the filter box to the left, with that one you just lift up and the door comes off giving access to the filter

      @@116falconer Unfortunately the way my furnace is set up the filter is located at the bottom behind the second panel. Many 9200 series are set up that way. Often times homeowners don't even know there is a filter there. Looks like there are two small screws that need to come off in order to remove the panel. What type of screw driver will I need?

    everything was great until he took the actual assembly off and ran thru 6-7 steps in that process (ie unscrew everything around the perimeter, this housing unplugs here, that tube has to be disconnected there, etc) but didnt show that happening...for the rank total amateur that is watching (ie me)...a lot of steps to go through please break that down

    Perfect. I have gotten through 3 winters with this issue by just fiddling with it. I might be able to do this myself? Hmmmm never worked on a furnace.

    I'm pretty sure this is happening to our carrier weather maker 8000. Same code everything. Checked filter it's clean. Didn't see or find blockages. Maybe this is the same issue. I dunno

      If you spin the motor by hand you should hear or feel if it’s bad. If the bearings don’t feel bad and it’s not backed up with condensation it might be the roll out switch 👍👍

      @incrediblesloth85 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@116falconer when you say "feel bad" like do you mean too much play like super loose. Like if I were to spin it it would spin quickly and not slow down quickly? Because that's what it's doing 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • @116falconer
      @116falconer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the bearings are bad you should feel some resistance or even grinding, if it spins freely and quietly then the induction motor is most likely not the cause of the problem. I have a couple bad units in the garage, I’ll check them out in the morning and get back to you.

      @@116falconer no worries bud. I'm hoping the lockout is just something simple that a layman like myself can fix or tinker with because of course this happened during the polar vortex crap 😂

    I've got this model furnace and it starts/stops when trying to heat. I'm thinking to clean the flame sensor but dang if I can find it. Any idea where it is (can't find any manuals online)? Thx.
