After seeing his video I picked up one of the dummies that was unstuffed bought a bag of stuffing and stuffed my little diamond that I got he's a grappling dummy and we named him greedy because you're going to get greedy when you work with them and then when you're on a person do you realize you get a little ambitious and you're like oh crap that isn't working got to go to something else that's why I ain't doing greedy but the kids love them they love to throw them around it's awesome works perfectly well durable thank you for the suggestion my wife actually got it for me so awesome

Sensei Dan. Nice video. I would have never imagined a gift idea martial arts video, and unique gifts as well. Awesome video Sensei Dan, again astonished.

Right at the beginning I see the effects of TH-cam's messed up rating system!
That disclaimer was a great idea!
    And so are these gifts!
    Those grappling dummies are awesome!
There is a similar thing at my Kung fu place!
    I call him "Billtough"
And he's meant more for striking then grappling, but he is in a humanoid shape!
And that massage roller would be awesome!
I could use that to work out the kinks in my legs after training!

Dan Sensei, you have a great list of gifts available on your channel! Awesome job on the video, definitely fun stuff for the holiday season! 👍
Many of my young relatives also ask me for toy foam/rubber nunchucks, clubs, guns, swords, and knives...I always love watching videos of my young relatives "getting it on" using some of the gifts I send them. I usually have to include a "mouth piece" for their parents to wear (for them to wear as they complain to me). Eye, and head protection are also a good idea to send along with the weaponized foam/rubber gifts...but the resulting videos are priceless! 🤪👍 Happy holidays Dan! I look forward to seeing you, and your upcoming subjects!

Some good ideas. Been thinking about getting a grappling dummy that I could work my throws on. Thanks for the idea on how to modify one of the less expensive ones for my needs. Giving serious thought to starting to compete in Shuai Jiao and that would be a great tool for practicing my techniques outside of class that I could go full blast with

Hey bud, great video. I think I'm sold on the strike meter and electric knife. I was thinking about buying a massage gun this Christmas. Have you used one? Last year I got two practice katanas for me and my kid. Those are super fun.

I have not. My instructors only ever used pine.

@@ArtofOneDojo as a 5th dan in kampong im sure you'd be able to break a piece of oak but its really really difficult the grain is a loooooooot tighter and more unforgiving my only qualm with pine is that its rather soft

Surprisingly this sucker is hard to get used to at first. Someone brought it into class the other night and I just received one as a gift. It takes a bit to get used to but it's fun as hell. Yes it totally feels like a cat toy but it's totally worth it.
