Thanks Jorg! Yes I'm already in communication with Windy and very much hoping to put together some tests for you as I LOVE that brand. I don't know the guys from Goldfish yet however i've been following them for years and would jump at an opportunity to test one of their boats. Thanks for the comment!
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife The Norwegian military just ordered Goldfish boats for a whole year of production capacity. They are serious high speed ribs 😎 Maybe you should come to Norway in the summer to test some Windy’s and Goldfish (though Goldfish is a Swedish brand). The weather here in Sandefjord (south) June/July is epic, around August the wind starts to pick up.
how is the Majesty 120 on both Atlantic and Pacifica ocean crossing and range must be min 7000 up to 40,000 nm as well can it be fitted with hybrid /nuclear population systems
I’ve read articles similar to what you mentioned about price points coming out of Dubai, on smaller boats also and they’re killing the prices on European and American boatbuilders. I guess the question becomes who’s taking advantage of their customers…. We know the answer as the prices of boats, any size seem to increase at a record pace.
I think the advantage they have in Dubai is they are much more business friendly than somewhere like Australia for example so taxes are virtually non existent as the government funds themselves through other means. Makes building boats a lot more cost effective I'd say.
Hey Dan, please forgive my ignorance but I used to think that yachts could only carry 12 passengers max(excluding crew). On that video I managed to count more than that. How's that possible? does the the rule apply for charter only? Great yacht and great video btw, thanks again for the upload👍
Crew is normally not included in that 12 pax number. Additionally, there are different rules for personal and charter use. Lastly, there have been recent changes for yachts to have more than 12 but no more than 36 pax.
So essentially, there are quite a few ways in which there will be more than 12 souls on board a vessel.

Well. Let me explain. If you certify yacht as charter LY3/REG-YC you can give it for charter ONLY for 12 passenger (or you should build the boat according to PYC). But the same time if you are using the same boat for private voyage you can allow sailing with more then 12 passengers.

Yeah I understand she's around a 20M Australian Dollar boat so if you're thinking US Dollar's that sound's about right.
Gulf Craft are killing it on design, if only they built in steel or aluminium.
They are doing a fantastic job. The new 160 is gorgeous! I think given they come from the heart of petrochemicals it makes sense for them to be world leaders in fiberglass builds.

I'm from Australia - we jail asylum seekers and their kids, our Aboriginal kids die in custody on a regular basis and we invade foreign countries for unclear reasons so I'm not going to pass judgement on what other countries are up to. Plus... this is a channel about boats. Not human rights. Sorry to hear it upset you.
