Zach Braff & Donald Faison on Late Friend Sam Lloyd, Nick Cordero’s COVID-19 Battle, and New Podcast

- Zach Braff and Donald Faison have teamed up to give “Scrubs” fans a podcast called “Fake Doctors, Real Friends” about their time on the hit show.
“Extra’s” Renee Bargh caught up with the actors, who opened up about working together again and shared the pain of losing co-star Sam Lloyd. They also spoke to Renee about their friend Nick Cordero and his battle with COVID-19.
I only found Scrubs in March of 2019. Been binge watching it ever since! Best anti depressant known to man kind....

I'd give almost anything to watch that series for the first time again.
where have you been watching? as zach and donald stated several times in their podcast, the original soundtrack was cut throughout the season because streaming wasn't a thing back then and they lost the license to some songs. you should definitely get the DVDs if you want the full experience. Although I think there's one or two services out there who still got those rights.
@@Jaaayzen I got it all as a DVD boxed set times two. Got a second one in case i wear out the first set! :P

Sam was hilarious on Scrubs. So talented too. I loved when his band came on. And his rendition of over the rainbow was so touching. Such a sweet voice. I was so happy that his sad sack character got to win in the end at life. I'm rewatching scrubs now and it still makes me smile. Thank you!

I knew sam. My cousin paul was in both his bands the blanks and the butties. Sam was a great guy. My prayers.are with his family.
It feels so weird to see Zach look so old. I just always remember him as goofy young JD.

I discovered Scrubs by accident, it was like the universe wanted me to discover this gem. I've rewatched the entire series so many times, It felt like JD and them guys were my bestfriends, I feel like i've known these guys all my life. It broke my heart to hear that Ted (Sam Lloyd) has died.
Really nice video, and really nice to hear from Zach and Donald what kind of person Sam was as I, like many others, got to know him and them through their mutual appearance in Scrubs.
And apart from that, I wish the best to Nick Cordero.

I watched the entire series of scrubs all the way through at least 3 or 4 times when it was on Comedy Central. My favorite comfort watch. Love these guys especially their tribute to Sam.
I always felt that this shot was done brilliantly. It is funny with the right amount of drama. It is definitely one of my favorite shows.

I remember seeing the teaser for Scrubs the very first episodes ending (when JD face plants on the hospital glass door)and I thought that show is going to be hilarious. Not only was and still is hilarious there's so many life lessons, straight out comedy and heartfelt bitter sweet moments it's impossible to describe. It helped me cope with the loss of my mom who was my my best friend We are so much alike. When I heard about Sam I felt like I lost a friend. I also watched him on Cougar Town where he still played Ted along with the Blanks or should I say The Worthless Peons . One of my favorite episodes of CT is at the end of 'Kiss the girl' is a Kind of a Scrubs Mini reunion. On the regular cast of Cougar Town was Ken Jenkins, Krista Miller and Sam Lloyd and if course The Blanks.. Pretty much got into a routine now of watching seasons 2 through 8. Don't want Scrubs to end at season 9, so simply head straight back to season 2 or, every now and then start from the first season just because.
Rate my "Scrubs"? ....are you sure? my goodness, mmmmkay, ...but at the risk of unintentionally ruffling some feathers right here tonight, and by "ruffling feathers" i mean dear Mr JD and dear Mr Turk, if you blokes are reading this...i watch "Scrubs" almost every night before bedtime for;
1st place - Ted
2nd place - The Janitor
3rd place - Dr Cox
......while the rest of you screwballs and misfits tie an equal 4th!!!

Nick Cordero was indeed still alive when it was recorded... damn, what a sad story. That and Sam Lloyd's death, of course. Life is tragic.
