Got any suggestions on where I should go next? Let me know!!!
Welcome to iTripReport's flight reviews, which I focus on reviewing both the soft product and hard product of airlines around the globe. I strive to give you guys a first person perspective of different aspects of the flight. Including the ground service, onboard service, and those views that come with the flight. As you can see, I record quite a lot of the experience to make sure I record what you want to watch. As always, thank you so much for watching.
Air France's extremely satisfying boarding music:

Wow 🥯
I love Air France and flew this A350 last summer. It was fantastic. Air France's business class catering is truly amazing.
Great review EXCEPT for one key thing that you don't seem to understand: Relishing versus rushing.
In France -- fine dining is a LEISURELY, RELAXED experience -- not a frantic race. North Americans (and Brits) are SO used to being RUSHED through their restaurant meals, to make room for the next batch of "customers." So what you criticize as "slow" service . . . merely shows you need to DE-PROGRAM YOURSELF from the usual Anglo "grim rush" -- and get with French culture: Slower, happier, relishing the TIME and the great cuisine -- not rushing through it. Thanks.
Seats look great. I need to fly it to Paris one day :)
Hi good report. But it's not "slow service", it's French service. In France we value meal time. It's an important part of the French culture. You have to enjoy not only the food bat also your time. Lots of foreigners are complaining about the time spending in restaurants in France and the slow service. But we take this time of the day very seriously, it's a journey we want to last forever...😁
it's a plane and some people would like to go to sleep. Not a long flight
don't know why we are so duly punished when travelling in the old A330 BC to/from Cuba! horrible experience for a lot of money. AF should improve!
Thank you for sharing.😊😊
The newest 787s have upgraded dimmable windows, and they're also darker and much more improved than the original ones. I experienced this a few months ago on a new Qatar Airways 787-9.
About to book AF from ORD to CDG in November. Business going and Prem Econ return. Looking forward to my bucket list adventure incl Eurostar to London. Thanks for the great video.
Just booked a flight from delhi to paris and from paris to new york in Air france . So let's see how its gonna be 🙌🏼
For anyone that wants to know which of Air France’s a350s have this cabin, they are the ones who’s registration starts with F-HUV
Thanks for this very informative trip report! I do like the AF business class product a lot as well. I had the chance to compare the new 777 seat with the A350 seats (both row one) and agree with you, that the A350 seat is even better. I had exactly the same experience with extremely slow service; two hours after take off dinner was served, and for a difference they started in the back of the cabin. I wonder what makes service (this was MEX-CDG) on this particular aircraft so slow.
Update: So a few weeks ago I flew on the new a350-900. My wife and I had row 1 center BOS to CDG and row 10 CDG to BOS. Row 1 is where you want to be row 10 is too close to restrooms and the galley. The window seats in row 10 are better than the center seats , the foot area in 10 is smaller in the center seats and the same up and down the rows. I'd choose another row in the middle of the plane than seat in row 10. More storage in row 1 as well.
The food was meh in both directions , dry fish outbound and dry chicken on the return. Eat in the lounges. The service was really high quality and I would not hesitate to fly with AF.
Generally the meals will always take around 2 hours depending on the load. The drinks service after take off can take 30/45minutes on a good day and whilst the crew are doing that, the galley crew are cooking and plating up the meals. Before they can come out with the food, they need to resecure the drinks trolleys and then load up with the meals. Then another drinks service during the starters which means loading up that trolley again. Then to put it away whilst they run main meals. Then get it out again and set up for desert and tea/coffee. As crew I think the quickest we ever managed to do it was an hour and a half and that’s because it was a night flight and most passengers wanted the express service to maximise sleep. Nice review buddy.
Question for anyone? Seatguru doesn't seem to have the "new" A350-900 layout. In Business Class, are the 2 center seats on the front row good seats to have for a couple?
Love this, I am so excited for my flight, great tips!
Is there any reason I shouldn't take the middle seats in the first row of BC?
Was able to select row 10 at booking. no status. Booked 10 months in advance
If it's a center seat I'd change it if you can
@@dpmu1977 all good with center as I am traveling with my daughter
Whatever happened to slippers and shoe bags? I guess it was too good to be true in business class. They were always on the a380. The amenity kit is pathetic.
I will be flying with my husband. Do the middle seats have the same space, privacy, large screen, storage, etc. I know you said we could opt to fly one in front of each other on the window. Which do you think is better for a couple? The window or the middle seats. Thank you.
Looks amazing I couldn’t afford business class seat 😂😂😂😂😂😂, but thanks for sharing.never fly with Air France before . How long was the flight?
How tall are you, if you don't mind me asking. I see your feet fit nicely into the little footrest area of your seat, but feel like the height plays an important part of whether that would work for me. Great video by the way!! The perfect amount of detail.
Thanks, Emil. I really noticed how quiet the A 350 is compared with the B 777. Nice decor, not worried about the window location unless an international daytime flight. Qatar's A 350 s have a reverse haring bone lay out, and so are more watcher friendly. Cheers from Australia.
My dear, instead of filming the engines during take off, I would have preferred you have filmed the various courses of meal
Love your vids! This is definitely one of the best airline review channel out there!
Great Video! Do you know which routes Air France is using these Updated A350s?
Emil.. I love your videos… but cmon… timestamps, it’s 2024
Well, done Air France. I have flow Air France several times and was not impressed however after seeing this video I might just give them another try. Love the "suites" and the mood lighting is wonderful and the meal looked very good.
I don't like the decor. Blinding white colors. I definitely prefer darker accents.
Maybe you need to visit an eye doctor. Sounds like a personal problem to me.
@@berkeleyfuller-lewis3442 It sounds like an emotional problem involving not accepting someone's different opinion or taste. There is no specialist for this.
The only opportunity I have had to fly AF is back in their early days of flying the Polar Route between Paris and Tokyo via Anchorage. I lived next door to their flight operations manager in ANC so I got to know he and his wife quite well. The one time I flew was on their 747 FC out of ANC but had to fly economy from Paris back to ANC and though I was impressed with their service then, it wasn't all that fancy. Thanks for the memories!!!!
The A350 doesn't have individual air vents?
what app/website do u use for the flight maps. like where you showed boston to paris with the red line thing
Solid product other the unacceptable wait to start service 2 hours into the flight.
I wonder who the first airline reviewer does a review wearing an Apple Vision Pro… probably wouldn’t make any sense but it would certainly be different… since airline reviews are a dime a dozen
I can assure you it won't be me...
It's not the City of "lights". It's the City of LIGHT!!
Great review and coverage of the seat map. Merci!
Very well presented video. I am happy to see you enjoyed your flight and the new product.
Also, I am wondering if you noticed the huge improvement in both much better cabin altitude pressure in this carbon fiber jet [ditto the Boeing 787] --(only 6'000 feet, rather than 10,000 or higher in aluminum planes) and humidity (20-30%, versus 10% in aluminum planes). Less jet lag? Comments?
Great trip report, thanks for uploading. That meal looked a little bit better than the meal I had in UA Polaris :)
I hope they would install these seats on the 787s as well
You highlighted the main reason I would fly Air France......... the food. Excellent quality. Video- 👍
That boarding music brings me right back to when I was traveling to Paris. Good times!
Great review. I would love to fly Air France one day.
Looking very nice.😊
😂 Hahaha! You made me laugh when you put the eye cover mask on!😊
Do you know if 10D and 10H is like the same as row 1 that has more space/bigger ottomans?
From the research I did, and the few moments I got to see both row 1 and 10, row 1 is a lot bigger, and while 10 is also spacious and has the ottoman, its not as spacious as row 1.
Off to France - BOS to CDG rt in row 1 d & h , I was able to choose them at purchase each way. Nice new Delta lounge the new addition to terminal E. @@ITripReport
What are the best seats for traveling with 2 in business on the new A359
my personal recommendation is get to seats in the window in front of each other, or get the middle seats
Like The cuisine aboatd❤
Random question but… when disembarking, which seat is best to get off quickly? I’ll be flying this beauty next month from Toronto to Paris, but have a fairly short layover and am hoping to get off fast.
You’d want to get anything close to door 2. In this configuration, it would be either rows 10-11, or 7-8, on the A or D side.
Thanks! I'm 6'6", so I'm hoping for a bulkhead seat. I'm currently row 1 for that reason, but hoping to snag row 10 before I go. @@ITripReport
how was your experience?
where did you put your shoes?
The speed of service was also a big problem on my last af flight
Looks like the delta interior
I was able to score this seat for 40k UR points. I can’t wait to experience it in August.
so how was the flight? great deal. i assume you had the 25% transfer bonus and got the 50K seat for 40K. Nice!
@@juddkoenig3204 it was great. I will definitely recommend if you have the opportunity to book it.
Curious why you don't check in and get your boarding pass online?
I usually always do that, but when I film a trip report I try to get a physical boarding pass, I also get physical passes from airlines with decorated passes, for my own collection
@@ITripReport Oh cool. I used to save boarding passes. Now you have me thinking! hahaha.
Great video. Thanks.
Was there a First Class on this flight?
No, I don’t think the a350-900 is planned to get first class.
Great video✈️👍
Going to Paris from Toronto Canada on this aircraft and business class in 2 weeks. You make it sound amazing. One can enjoy a travel experience. The journey to France counts! Thanks for the report.
I'm still trying to figure out if you are traveling Asa couple does divider go down in middle seats
Do more Air France Trip Reports please !!
I flew their other A350 a few weeks ago! Will be uploading that one soon
@@ITripReporthello! i flew on air france a350 from new york to paris in first class! flew on af11 left ny around 1am on july 23rd. i went to paris for the olympics!
@@ITripReport it was a great expereince my first time on the a350!
I made a trip before . And you know what they changed my seat reservation from the window to the middle seat for no reason at all .and when I asked why . They told me if you don't like it. We will cancel your trip . reservation in this company is very bad . So if you want to have a bad experience . Please help yourself. Have a good trip.
Excellent trip report Emil!
Yo
I absolutely HATE these seats! It’s very difficult to look at the window and to film.
Really dude? That’s your issue sitting in a first class seat?
Bummer you get to sit in first.. I feel so bad
😅 1% of people in the world problems. Enjoy your life man.
Why tf does every asshat under 30 feel the need to record everything. Jesus, just enjoy the moment. Everyone isn't meant to be a youtuber 😂. You can't retire off this, and you're not recording anything new we haven't seen. I know what the sky looks like
I've said this to YOU before -- dining in France is a RELAXED, sensuous affair -- not eating at McDonalds. Earth to you, come in!
Oh no trust me I fully agree! As a Mexican our lunch/dinners usually last around 4-5 hours at the table. I guess my perception was more based on short overnight flights, were in my opinion sleep should be optimized. Still though, food was delicious!
