    This is awesome. I didn't know about this man until I heard about him this morning on NPR. So glad I was listening at that moment. Now I gotta go get his books!

    I read 'Working' ages ago. Interesting. We had a similar interviewer here in Canada named Barry Broadfoot

    I've read Terkel's "Working," and his "The Good Fight." Both were magnificent.

    His books are fascinating, especially the one (can't remeber) where he interviewed people 30 years later........

    Yeah, so many Christians are abrasive, and go to peoples' doors, and actually are supposed to be abrasive and jam their religion down others' mouths to try to convert them. So I totally feel you. People should be a lot more like people like Studs, you're right.
