Great video, I admire you and love how you get your daughter to help out. You have certainly earned my subscription!
Start them young right? I waited a long time to have kids and I enjoy spending time with them. Thank You!
Thanks for the video! Very helpful. You made this look easy
It’s the third time I’ve done it. I made the video to remind myself in the future. lol. Thanks!
I have the same heater, Red Stone RS-235 that is usable but ready for a new wick. Your video was at the top of the search. I see you are Very Handy Capable. Thank You.
Thank You! Yes I do really try. I swear this same heater has 20 different brand names but it’s the most common one I’ve ever seen. I really want to put a natural gas one in but the hookup is on the other side of the house. Glad you liked it!
Great work!!! Thanks!
It’s funny how something is simple as replacing a wick is poorly documented on the Internet. I guess where there’s a need someone will eventually fill it. thanks for watching!
Quick, simple and to the point. Thanks
You’re welcome! Happy new years my friend!
I have the same one changed the wick couple of time and cleaned every thing . runs nice . just after the first refill you smell an burned kerosene . minutes and black smoke . flame out of the case and soooot last time i tried to fix it the flames were coming from the side under the chimney If any one has real fix pleas tell me
the kerosene is fine I used it in other heater and no problem NON. last wick is a Toyotomi one and its a perfect fit
I’m sorry to hear that. Maybe you could post a video and send me the link? I’ve taken that heater apart several times now.
I'd love to be your nabor I love trying projects I do h2o gas I run my lawnmower about 35 seconds, but I should tell you about the time it blew the hoses out, have a safe day b good
You too bud!
How do you shut it off? Thanks!!
There is a hand crank that raises and lowers the wick. You just crank the wick counterclockwise until it is fully retracted into the bottom of the unit, and that will extinguish the flame.
Thank you!@@armedanddangerousdiy6096
