I listened to this interview and poem as I was on vacation in the Land between the Lakes in Tennessee. I camped for 10 days with just me and my two dogs, my canoe, kayak, and bicycle. It was sublime, and I was overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude and peace. This interview came on the radio as I was driving up The Trace, a beautiful drive up the spine of the Land between the Lakes. It was so perfect for what I was experiencing! I cried fierce tears of joy.

I could listen and read to David Whyte and John O’Donohue over and over again! Thank you!

I was walking home to my dorm from the gym at Luke AFB in January 2020. It was around 6 pm, and I can see the sunset coming down in the west. I was going through a tremendous amount of growing up in my adulthood as I was 19 when this podcast came out. To this day this is my favorite poem, and it reminds me to live in the present, and enjoy all the simple things in life.

Funny I was listening intensely to D Dub while living in Litchfield Park, by LAFB, right down Camel Bak Rd from you!

I have listened to this conversation and poem for so many years and heard it so differently through each decade and moment in my life ! Your show has been what I have called my soul opening show for what I think is more than 20 + years 🙏🏼. Thank you for opening my mind , eyes , heart and soul as I have navigated this beautiful and at times challenging thing we call life !❤️

This poem is so sublime, it evens works being read backwards (from the bottom up)! I pray to cherish this for a lifetime

Back two years later, on a day when I needed it. Still extraordinary. The cooking pots line never fails to make me laugh. So glad this poem exists

Beautiful, I wish more people would upload these without background music, as they've done here

My best friend posted this a few months before taking his life. How I wish I’d seen it then…

I'm so sorry my friend. I lost someone I loved deeply the same way. The signs were glaring, even moreso to his closest family and friends than myself, and yet we still missed them. Surviving this is some of the worst pain imaginable. Just know that you are never alone. Sending you love and warmth. ♥️

Quite nice, I don't read poetry or have it read to me. Recently began reading HP Lovecraft. I like this. It's relaxing.
