If were talking about those who haven't intermixed then they do not have enough south asian to be considered a fully south Asian ethnic group. Not to mention their culture nor their language is south Asian (unless u include Pakistan pashtuns which adopted some south asian culture). Also they're a huge tribal group and their genetics tend to be very varied. Also pashtuns aren't the only people in Afghanistan you know?
