Thank you soooo much for this video. I am a recent widow and this is one of many tasks that my husband did not explain to me how to do. First of all I made the error of ordering the wrong filters and the manufacturer will not take them back. Then I remembered that my husband kept every manual for every little thing we purchased for this house. I found the manual but still needed some clarification - turning the water off. Thank you so much, I don't have a lot of money because I'm retired, I'm trying my best to just get stuff done with PAYING someone else to do it.
I am at my parents'. They were talking about paying the plumber $150 to change out these filters. It took longer to get the bottles of Dawn, Clorox wipes, Mr Clean,Veggie rinse and dishwasher soap, etc or from under the sink than it did to change the filters. I DID take the pre filter off first. I think that the purple valve is default open to the middle(osmosis) filter. Removing that pre filter first must close the flow and pressure. I didn't want to experiment to find out. Even though the line to the filter has a shut off on ours. Anyway no drips. Excellent video. Thank you.
