Hi Bin thank you so much for your very helpful tutorial, I’ve got a quick question for you if you have a wall that has two different layers for the external wall finishes, would you rather make it with two different wall types with one been embedded into the other or make it as one wall and edit it with create parts tool ?
It's something similar to this case? I thought it could be done with stalked wall tool but it can't work because the external finishes have irregular shape like in that pic here renew.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/170122-Charles-0440-feature-image.jpg
I don't think a stacked wall would be the best choice. Using parts is definitely an option, but it's also quite easy to use a different wall type. Additionally, you could use a full height wall along with another wall type that only has the finish material, and then use join geometry.

there is a better solution for this. To rotate the patch around the center of the arch you need to make a model in-place arch for this
You are right. Solids are usually better than voids. But in this case, I'll try to stay away from both if I can.

Unfortunately, I don't think the Split Face work on curved surface.
