I'd like to see John Fury do a documentary about the history of boxing from the bare knuckle days to present day and hopefully meeting some of the boxers from different generations to the present day boxers of this era and cover all the major weight divisions.
Bartley Gormans book is worth a read 👍🏻
Definitely 👍
This is a great idea as he talks with so much passion about the old family days of the bare knuckle!!!! WHAT A HISTORY OF FAMILY
I’d love to see that.
it would just be majority lies.
Soul of a warrior. I'm a low level pug fighter and I'm pretty unemotional in life but when he talked about his premature baby and the glint in the eye it actually brought a tear to mine.
My mother put in me from an early age a deep respect for the traveling community. This interview just increased it.
Whats a travelling communty/people/family etc..? Is it ppl from Ireland that came to live and work in england/UK but they get treated bad cos of who they are??
What a story John’s honesty and loyalty to he’s family members past and present inspiring and Steve who interviews him what a decent man done with love and respect the best is yet to come hopefully Tyson retires undefeated champion of the world
Crazy how someone from a once verbally abused background. To then be the role model for any british man. Deserves all the respect
The only MAN who can beat TYSON is TYSON but I don't think he WILL
Absolutely heart warming , emotional and inspiring fury and his family legacy will live forever
Beautiful listening to the father talk about the shocking skill of his prodigious son. Bunce has long been the best boxing journalist of his generation, but he’s on scintillating form here. A sensational piece.
Christ mate don’t shoot your load.
His sons biggest fan. It’s truly heart warming 🤞
What a beautiful man. After losing my job yesterday I feel my mental health slipping,. I will keep fighting Mr John FURY!
The adrenaline released by proper training helps with depression. Get a heavy bag. Good luck.
Remember there is help out there. No shame.....👍
Still here and grinding. Havent made it through yet. Thanks for all your kind words.
I’m a girl and John’s intro gave me goosebumps. I need a man with those values in my life.
They don't exist anymore darling...me and John Fury are the last of them 😁
I'm here
Gypsy John is a good man at heart. This documentary was inspiring and moving. I like listening to him.
Watching this gives me loads of inspiration! What a gent! And what a fighting machine!! I’d love to have a father like John and more importantly I’d love to be a father like him!!
He bate amber regularly though, that’s not a man. He only got away with it because amber lived in England with him. I doubt he would try it in her area she is from the ira stronghold of west Belfast from a massive family. John fury’s first cousins in Ireland are all country travellers from Galway. Aren’t really fighters like ambers family. His first cousin is Finnbar fury from the Irish rebel band
I dont think the media in the uk have properly backed fury.
The man's a legend, to do what he has done is incredible.
Hes x10 the boxer of Joshua and nobody turned up to welcome him back.
He's done a lot inside and outside the ring, he deserves more respect. Tyson Fury, The Gypsy King
@@musashidanmcgrath Well, he should go pull up trees in Ireland then
@@musashidanmcgrath bollucks I was in France for The Euros Fury was out there too with his England top and buying his fellow Lancastrians pints !, Some traveller families in England that have Irish surnames go back many generations living in England. Fury has a massive following but AJ has London.
@@ashleymcmurray5060 John and amber were both born in Ireland
@@ashleymcmurray5060 what are traveller families? Is it Irish families migrating to England or the UK w.e, and work there and get treated bag by English people?
Such an interesting bloke, I’d love to buy him a pint and just listen to his life stories.
I me would love to also mate. Lol
Be careful he doesnt gouge your eyes out like hes done before
He probably gargles with a pint. I doubt he'd be satisfied.
He'd probably still take Tommy. He was obviously a wild boy whose grown up a little. I'm 59 this week and still think I'm a teenager. Life goes too fast. People who succeed chase a dream and do the work, people who don't succeed, don't do the work. I'd buy him a few beers and if i pissed him off and he clobbered me, I'd be bragging til I died about the day he taught me another lesson. :)
I don't drink but I'd have a pint with him 🤣
incredible, buncey & big John is the best partnership
@Jordan Laird drivel, they’re both historians of boxing. Live it and breathe it.
@Jordan Laird 😂😂😂 what a bellend!
@Jordan Laird everytime John got in the ring he got sparked out, he even admitted he only got the call to get mashed up. fair play to him though hes cashing in and milking what the public wanna hear.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tyson is a fantastic boxer but most of the praise should go to Peter, they never talk about him or give him any credit after falling out
John's got a way with tall tales, phrases like "never beat a day in his life", I think it's more about respect and reverence than lying or deception. A proud people, and a tough people.
John Fury is absolutely one of the most inspirational men I have ever watched or listened to. I'm not gonna lie.... I did break down in tears when he spoke about his father and Bartley Gorman, their deaths, and waiting for the 'message' from his Dad from the afterlife. I was that mesmerised by this documentary up till that point, that the moment he asked for a minute to compose himself, it got me in the throat and the heart... and I wasn't expecting it. But his love for his son... his pride in their family and cultural history... his wisdom and sage like predictions.... OMG.... this man is one in a million!
@Chris H
Because He's a real man inc emotionally, too strong to be anything else.....
I must admit it touched me too.
An inspiration that didn't want to fight Mick Theo??? Come off it.
He’s a women beater though, he most likely married amber because of her family background.
@@vontrap6942 A+
@@siofra3819 what was her background ?
Best one of the father so far. Esp when he talked about his father and uncle,
John! Nobody has a clean conscience in this world but we somehow have to learn to stand up for ourselves and above all we must learn to love. Xx
And he is right man in my 40s now and I'm only learning still I think life is all like school we learn every day
Love it. A proud father speaking from the heart. That made my day.
Part of the reason Tyson is so confident is because of his dad...his dad's love and being brought up by an old school "Real" Man
Big Tyson has dug deep into his DNA and fulfilled his family’s destiny! Went to the mental pit of hell and rose again. True Warriors are forged like this. Truly inspirational.
Must admit when john got emotional It touched something deep inside!! Respect big man
@kate sterlin it circled the full inside
@kate sterlin ffs
I don't know who inspires me more with their words, tyson or his dad big john.i worked in classrooms for many years and i truly think tyson and his dad should tour the classrooms of the world and give inspirational speeches. I guarantee they would make a hell of a difference in this world
I could listen to John Fury tell stories all day, very charismatic and seems a genuine person
Damn what a movie this would be. The history here is rich and needs to be properly told for the big screen.
I like the idea of that, how good would that movie be 👍
I wonder would the include the part where his father gouged a mans eye out
Should be a series. Theres too much history to go into 1 movie
@@Cdroh need more info plz.
All this stuff is super interesting to me...
Any details what happened?
@@jeffwischhof5752 John fury had a feud with a former friend for 12 years. It ended at a car auction where John fury got him in a headlock and put his fingers in his eyes making him go half blind. That's why he went to jail for 5 years
What a lovely and emotive feeling I got from this documentary, it was made with real and genuine sincerity. Respect to all involved in getting this done. And yeah, I felt Tyson's disappointment returning from Germany to no crowds. It reminded me of Sonny Liston winning the championship and nobody there for his own homecoming and that did affect him internally in some way. I hope Tyson wins next weekend. And I am not a fanboy, I just enjoy my boxing. Always have...
Well said.
With real and genuine sincerity the gypsy queen is a cheater. Board meat, glove tampering caught before a fight started and now with more damming pictures in his last fight.
@@ernestocarrillo7 I am not here to argue with faceless people that I do not know. but if there was anything in these accusations, why the hell did they not sue? If there is proof, take him to court. But nothing happened.
I live in the real world. Many millions of dollars are at stake and if there is cheating, then bring in the police. But again, nothing. So I do not care what BS is said. It is just hearsay until the lawyers start getting involved.
@@JohnSmith-bz9be don't rise to the bait mate, just a bitter yank
@@beninem8600
You'd probably consider me a yank too, but I think Fury is a legend. Cheers from Texas bud.
Beautiful insight into the legends John and Tyson are, their roots, personality and the family name that will forever be written in history.
I have to admit I don’t watch many things on TH-cam that are almost 30 minutes long but this had me hooked. I have great respect and admiration for the Fury family. I’m honoured to be alive in the Fury era of boxing 🥊🥊
The Fury men are no short on charisma, Daring or genuine character. Great injection of personality into boxing
Fantastic interview with a true gentleman. When we were younger back in the 80s and 90s fighting was a right of passage for young men in rural Ireland. Fights were well organised and respect was shown by both fighters at the end of a fight. Today the youth are disconnected and more interested in trends and fashionable ideology.
Dont forget celtic seasalt furys secret weapon
That was powerful stuff. First time I've properly listened to John. It won't be the last :)
The shadow boxing by Dad-John, with the audio commentary of Tyson defeating Klitchko was everything. Love it. Great overall story too.
They did a great job on this one. Almost had a tear in my eye.
I absolutely love John Fury, what a man, what a father.
The scene of him walking up the hill to the tree with the punching bag and a old Irish gypsy song playing was a beautiful shot
It’s kinda paying tribute to a Documentary about Bartley Gorman from 1995. Same shot
This was a well made documentary short, great backdrops and cinematography. Enjoyed the content, John's a real character!
This is one of the best documentary I have ever watched. Enjoyed every second of it. More please with mr fury…. Thanks
Just one problem, it is to short. This could be a 4-5 E. Talking about their home history and What lead up to Tyson. I would love it
"A right jab to the eye and a left that broke all me ribs" - classic Fury and classic storytelling.
To the man I want to be, from the man I don’t want to be. I hope I can create and achieve the slightest part of strength this man has, his love, his compassion, his family.
What a true fighter, a warrior.
I have a genuine love for John fury. Is he is such an inspiring an incredible man. As a man I can only hope to be half of what he is
