It's mainly a regional accent from around Sheffield / Manchester with a few little traveller isms hear and there. They sound a bit different to me. Makes me think of a pint of Tetly, darts and snooker and long walks in the Peak District.
Its the more rural parts of that whole area it put me in mind of certainly not like Sheffield or Manchester accent I's obviously different. Your right though it more Lancashire.
