- October 8, 2020 - This trail is fast, and gnarly. There are small drops the entire way down, as well as long loose rock gardens. Be aware of hikers coming up and down, this is a shared trail. I agree with the black diamond rating, but it is close since it's only the last half mile or so of the trail that is the gnarliest.

Nice video. That downhill is great. That switchback to the right you took is normally by passed; instead you bear a little left to sustain the DH flow. I usually hit the switchbacks if I'm climbing up that trail. How did you like the climb out - brutal, right?. Birdsboro preserve is a lot of fun and in some ways I like it more than FC. its connected to FC via horseshoe trail or you can park off 345 or the other side of Birdsboro off Calico Road to check it out. Trail forks has the trails mapped out pretty well. The "scott miller loop" alone is worth it. keep it up. I used your videos to decide what trails to ride for Lackawanna SP. Thanks.
Lackawanna is awesome! I still have work to do there. I’ll be up that way around Thanksgiving.
I did really like 6 Penny DH. It was the last trail I rode that day so I opted to hit the road and ride back to my truck instead or working into FC more and further from my truck. I did not realize I missed part of the trail. Well, there’s a reason to go back!
