Linach 15 two piece wooden nesting sailing and rowing dinghy

A 15 foot 4 inch long two piece dinghy that comes apart and fits inside a large SUV, minivan or a pickup truck bed; it can be rowed, sailed, or used for fishing. This 6 minute video shows the dinghy at a remote lake in Utah, showing how it is used and its sailing and rowing characteristics. An additional 2 minute video on TH-cam shows how easy it is to right the dinghy from a capsize.

I love the clean lines of the design. One question though when sailing with the wind a beam, she does seem a bit tippy with you having to sit up real high, is that with a center board?

The daggerboard is down. That particular gust of wind was over 15 knots and so I sat on the gunwale to help keep the dinghy level. The beam is only 4 feet wide as the whole design goal is to be able to put this dinghy inside a vehicle. So there is going to be a need to hike out or shift one's body weight to the upwind side when sailing in stronger winds, just like one would with any other relatively lightweight sailing dinghy.
