Watch it in 0.25 speed on TH-cam, Becky actually lifts Ronda back off the ground and then plants her shoulders flat once she gets her legs wrapped. The ref is down and counting before they've settled onto the mat. If he waits another second before starting his count, instead of a botched finish we get a perfect one.

It would have made very little sense for Ronda to lose her title by tapout, especially to Becky's dis-arm-her which doesn't look super painful. A clean pinfall finish would have made for a more satisfying ending of the match though...
Either outcome is possible with Lousy Rousey. She either had too large of an ego to lose clean or she was too terrible of a wrestler to take the pin properly.
It's completely believable. Ronda was up against two formidable opponents. Two of the four horsewomen. She had to keep her eyes open at all times. Charlotte is an awesome athlete and a big strong girl. Even though she changed her style when she became The Man, Becky is a matt technician and submission specialist at heart. Also the run Becky had at time, anything was possible.
@@markfroman738 she got knocked out in under a minute before. The baddest woman on the planet. She could tap hear as well 🤣🤣🤣. Plus she sucks at pro wrestling 🤣🤣🤣
Honestly without Ronda Becky never been the man & a all womens ppv. Ronda brought a ton of new curious fans to watch the women wrestle & to see what she was gonna do. They completely booked her wrong. Should have booked her like they did Brock Lesnar & not had her take so many bumps to make her look weak like the other girls. In reality she would make everyone of them tap out in less than a minute.
I hate Ronda but I think she was actually trying to make sure her shoulders were secure and comfortably flat, and the ref just started the count too soon. Ronda really doesn't look like she's trying to escape the pin until after the 3-count is made. I will say Ronda using her mom as an excuse for not tapping out is goofy though.
Ronda was decent for someone who was still new to the company but that little slick kick out she did was selfish and the referee saw it but gave Ronda a taste of her own medicine by still counting
Probably unententional because of all her years of very high level Judo one of the first things is to get your shoulders off the mat & was just a natural reaction from muscle memory
It truly seems like Rhonda has inferiority complex. I don’t know if it’s something that comes from childhood and parents pushing her to be the best or something… I don’t know. I didn’t read her book so I don’t know her past. But she can never admit defeat or somebody’s better than her. She just makes excuses why she lost. Instead of giving her opponent their dues for beating her. I’m not talking about professional wrestling, of course. But, it sort of carried over to this match anyways. Where, she couldn’t bear the thought of losing to somebody she thought was lesser than her, so she purposely sabotaged the ending to be able to say that she didn’t really lose. Even though it was a professional wrestling match, that was predetermined anyways. Crazy thing is, she seems to have a somewhat decent head on her shoulders… That seems to be tainted by shadows of the past or something. I don’t know what causes that part of her to be so defiant of failure. We all fail, that’s how we get better at what we do and become better people. Makes us strive to do and be more.
Ronda was so busy trying to make Ronda the person relevant that she forgot to make Ronda the WWE character relevant. When you lose sight of that and forget you're not playing yourself and that you're playing a character you have effectively lost as a WWE wrestler
I was thinking about it for years how the finishing of that elegant match be that lame finally I've got my answer it was a botch if Ronda tapped out it would've been more gorgeous
I feel like Ronda should’ve won the match she literally dominated most of the match it would have been more interesting if she won giving she never lost before
I mean the match wasn’t great but I wouldn’t say it was bad or anything, it was just a decent like 6/10 main event which is better than some of the other shit we’ve gotten in the past decade or so
I don't remember it being bad personally. I enjoyed it but the botched finish was deflating for what should have been Becky's big WrestleMania moment. Plus the crowd was tired from how long the show was - bless the two night structure.
wwe has a tendency to destroy a character when their contract is coming to an end. Ronda is an actual cage fighter and would destroy most of the women in the locker room with eyes closed. there's no way her last match should end with a tapout. fk wwe creative

Also the run Becky had at time, anything was possible.
@@robertoglencoco7861 lol
@@markfroman738 she got knocked out in under a minute before. The baddest woman on the planet. She could tap hear as well 🤣🤣🤣. Plus she sucks at pro wrestling 🤣🤣🤣
Didn’t Ronda come out and say she was just trying to fix her shoulder and make sure it was flat
I will say Ronda using her mom as an excuse for not tapping out is goofy though.
cry mark ronda achieved more than a loser like you ever will
Her mom was a world class judo competitor and taught everything she knows....that arm bar was her mom's signature move so yea
Ronda was decent for someone who was still new to the company but that little slick kick out she did was selfish and the referee saw it but gave Ronda a taste of her own medicine by still counting
Ronda really is spoiled entitled karen for trying to sabotage Becky's moment
Glad Rhonda is part of WWEs past. She was not fit and there are plenty of talented ladies that deserve her spot.
Becky Lynch to me has and received that "Stone Cold" aura. She made me a believer.
Ronda was so busy trying to make Ronda the person relevant that she forgot to make Ronda the WWE character relevant.
When you lose sight of that and forget you're not playing yourself and that you're playing a character you have effectively lost as a WWE wrestler
How can you be happy wining tittles of fake game? How can you be proud?
Weather it was intentional or not. Ronda had say how it was suppose to end. Which made for a weak ass ending for the 1st womans main event.
what was the end supposed to be?
@@cheesy5930 whatever mess of a finish it turned out to be
Becky so fine
She should be in the Fallout show...she'd make an amazing Kat or Kate....however you spell that character from Fallout 4.
Great Moment. No matter what Ronda had in her mind, still a Great Moment.
Good thing it was just a Becky Lynch match. It'd be a shame if Rousey could have ruined something important.
Ronda is disrespectful towards her opponents and the business. Very unprofessional.
I was thinking about it for years how the finishing of that elegant match be that lame finally I've got my answer it was a botch if Ronda tapped out it would've been more gorgeous
I feel like Ronda should’ve won the match she literally dominated most of the match it would have been more interesting if she won giving she never lost before
Booking was botched. No need to put Charlotte in there. WWE dropped the ball on this one.
Rhonda tapping out would’ve made for a Legendary Finish
As great as Bret Hart making Stone Cold tap out
But NO!!! Too much for her ego
Why would she tap out to a fake fighter like Becky
Ronda was a terrible performer, she didnt deserve the pushes she got.
cry mark
Ronda had no intention of doing business. Too big time...
Becky just zaps the energy out of her own interview
Good lord her voice is deep for a chick.
Imagine if Holme or Nunes turned up.
Lmao “my mom wouldn’t look me in the eye if I tap out” who tf is this, Ultimate Warrior?
watching this video explains nothing.
lmao becky being politically correct. you can tell she was picking her words very wisely about that lady. ronda sounds awful to work with.
She was more attractive with fuller cheeks. :/
She wouldn't tap out. Suggest a high kick to the chin Holly Holm style.
Becky is beautiful. Colby is a lucky prick.
I still believe that Ronda Rousey should've won that match it was stolen from her.
She knows exactly what she did 😅
Becky was mumbling a lot at the beginning. I couldn’t make out what she was saying.
Irish
I understood her clearly the whole clip. I am from the UK though.
@@mazhoque I understood every word and I'm not from the UK. Not sure what words are hard to understand here.
Ronda went into business for herself
Becky is beautiful 😍
If you talk about it, show the clip!
Why is Becky Lynch so fucking hot
It was intentional. She hates to lose even in a scripted sport
Every time I hear Becky speak, I'm reminded how big of a clown Kevin Dunn is. Her voice and accent are so lovely.
Something wrong with you
That match was so awful it wasn't even funny 😂
I mean the match wasn’t great but I wouldn’t say it was bad or anything, it was just a decent like 6/10 main event which is better than some of the other shit we’ve gotten in the past decade or so
Was it? I was gonna go and watch it back on my lunch break but now i’m kinda on the fence about it lol
I don't remember it being bad personally. I enjoyed it but the botched finish was deflating for what should have been Becky's big WrestleMania moment. Plus the crowd was tired from how long the show was - bless the two night structure.
it was okay def not main event worthy. Plus the crowd was drained, but hey atleast the women got their moment 🤷🏾♂️
@@Porg51it’s better than miz/cena but other than that, na it’s the worst main event since 27 in 2011
dude if I was a bonafide fighter like ronda I wouldnt want to tap to that weak ass armbar neither
Not surprised by all the band wagon Ronda haters in the comments lol.
Ronda Rousey, ya divvy knacker!
This moment is still completely uninteresting to me .
Ronda stole Shanna's run! It's a crying shame.
Damn she sound scared just talking bout Ronda
The match was rubbish like every other Becky match
Why would she refuse to tap out? It’s phony pro wrestling even according to her.
Ronda is overrated and a poor sportswoman. A flash in the pan that is all she was and will ever be.
She certainly tapped out when Gulak accidentally touched her drawstring to her jogging pants.
She needs to read audiobooks.
That doesn't work for me sis
I’m pretty sure every single wrestling interview ever is the Chris Farley “remember that” SNL sketch
The match was god awful though 😖
wwe has a tendency to destroy a character when their contract is coming to an end. Ronda is an actual cage fighter and would destroy most of the women in the locker room with eyes closed. there's no way her last match should end with a tapout. fk wwe creative
80 pound Becky lynch being in the main event of wrestlemania shows how bad wwe was at that time
Ronda is full of crap
