great videos man these are some nice little tricks and lines here. i like how you take things away from the obvious route when you put a lot of your lines together. reminds me of what i was like with skate 2 :P i guess i never saw skate 3 as still having those kinds of opportunities. you have proved me wrong
Lol everyone' tripping saying that they can do the same tricks... Well anyone can but the creativity that made this guy do the tricks is amazing!!!!! I never thought of skating those spots
yeah i agree, when i had the time and arguably more interest around when skate 2 came out, i did a lot of recording and it was rare that i did anything outside of a line or at least a "long" trick (big gap in's etc.), barring hippy flips, of course, ive always envied people who have the patience and skill to get a hippy flip as part of a line, of course a hippy flip then just kickflipping off a kicker kinda subtracts from the HF :P
I was actually looking forward to watching the video when I heard the very start of the song thinking it was Leper Messiah by Metallica only to be disappointed when it was only a sample.
yes, as a matter of fact, the first song in this video has turned out to be my all time most hated song. its actually interesting to me now how much people hate it. i've been a musician for most of my life and have had generally favorable responses to most of the things i've been involved with. but this song is certainly the exception, it has generated the most universal hate i have ever received. it has certainly been a humbling experience and a lesson on how to handle criticism.
its called "the heartbeat of altamonte". it can be listened to on my soundcloud page. there is a link for soundcloud on my channel. i also have a brand new album out now available on ITunes, Amazon, spotify. check it out, its called "don't think too much and entertain us" by Audible Impossible. thanks for watching.
the reason skate games are WAY better than Tony Hawk games, is becaue the skate challenges and goals are all about skating and doing tricks to get scores, but in tony hawk games the challenges are about different things that have no relation to skateboarding, plus skate controls are more realistic, thumbs up if you agree.
thank you, i always feel that the tricks are better in a line. some tricks are easy by themselves, but linking up tricks with consistency takes some effort.
5:06 got too excited after the fakie hardflip back nose... nollie tre would have been way better to fakie.. it's hard to contain yourself when the first part looks so sick
i am working on a hardcore montage now and will probably be done in the next few months. i don't have tons of time to work on them so they take a while.
@THEeuanRatley i definitely like the trucks to be loose, i like the steering better like that, and i like the wheels kinda hard so you can powerslide easily, i'm not totally sure on how much difference they make on your ability to land stuff, but it effects turning and powerslides a lot
thank you, i don't make a lot of hip hop. i do have a brand new album available on itunes, amazon, etc. its called Audible Impossible "Don't Think Too Much And Entertain Us"
i didnt use a capture card, its just an analog video cable running from my xbox to computer through a makeshift video interface. thats why the quality is a little fuzzy on this series. i upload my clips now and make videos in high def. they look way better.
its called "the heartbeat of altamonte". go to my channel homepage and look for the link that says soundcloud. you can listen to all my music on that page. this song is actually really old and my music styles are frequently changing. definitely explore and see if you like anything.
that is a really old song of mine called "the heartbeat of altamonte". it was a two part song and that section is the second half. i don't do a lot of hip hop but occasionally i mess around. check out my soundcloud page for more music. the link is on my channel homepage.
@noventak haha, it took me a second to understand this comment. i made all the music in this video a few years ago and i forgot i sampled leper for the beginning.

And this kids is why we have video games. To make us think we can do crazy and amazing this when we really can't
Sweet! :)

Now 12 years ago
I was actually looking forward to watching the video when I heard the very start of the song thinking it was Leper Messiah by Metallica only to be disappointed when it was only a sample.

I love how creative people was back in the day, now it’s all about tricklining. :/
This has probably been asked already, but what capture card do you use?
Its my favourite video of Skate 3! ;)

just balance the right stick before you land, midway between center and fully down for a regular and midway between center and fully up for nose.
@lesclaypaul thanks man, yeah, the blunts and tails are awesome....

@THEeuanRatley i definitely like the trucks to be loose, i like the steering better like that, and i like the wheels kinda hard so you can powerslide easily, i'm not totally sure on how much difference they make on your ability to land stuff, but it effects turning and powerslides a lot

i didnt use a capture card, its just an analog video cable running from my xbox to computer through a makeshift video interface. thats why the quality is a little fuzzy on this series. i upload my clips now and make videos in high def. they look way better.
merci beaucoup:)
ur skater looks like reynolds with the way he wears that hat
I miss Slappy. All they gave him was a car lot. =(
Guys stop saying this is really easy read the description this was made just after it came out when not many people were really good on skate 3
i never claimed it was realistic, and yes there are a lot of blunts because blunts look badass
this game is so addicting!!!
I mean your tricks is tight
i like first line :)
@controlfreakpower thank you, check out my latest video on my channel
@skate1206 i just ran with the board in hand and threw it down right before the blocks. running is a great way to get speed on flat ground areas.
Saw someone do that last trick perfectly down my street.
its called "the heartbeat of altamonte". go to my channel homepage and look for the link that says soundcloud. you can listen to all my music on that page. this song is actually really old and my music styles are frequently changing. definitely explore and see if you like anything.

people STOP HATING. None of you actually skate im sure of it. STEEZY TRICKS ARE HARD.
preach it dude. im more of a longboarder myself. kickfliping is extremely hard.
Andrew Casey im skateboarding for about 8 years now and i think kickflips are easy

@noventak haha, it took me a second to understand this comment. i made all the music in this video a few years ago and i forgot i sampled leper for the beginning.
i've been getting a lot of comments like this lately, but this video was made so long ago, my character doesn't look like this anymore.

This should've been called, "Hard Tricks for People Who Dont Know How To Play On Hardcore Like Me"
Alot of these tricks deserved a "270 out"....
