George at 10:57 talking about the death threats he received before a concert in Louisiana, where people said they'd shoot him. George said, "I thought, "I can't cancel the gig..." and "there was quite good security, I had a bullet-proof vest--and I moved around quick". That sums up the core of Boy George. He's a tough bastard, and oh-so-talented. We are lucky to have him all these years. A true icon and trailblazer.

I loved Boy George at first sight, thought he was beautiful, boy or girl. I loved his voice and his music (bought the CDs). Then brokenhearted about his troubles, but I knew then he'd overcome it all. I felt connected to him, so seeing him well and BACK, I'm happy, a prayer realized. Love you from the USA and so impressed with all you've accomplished. Just happy you're back to us.

He said there was only one kid that he couldn't bully. He continued that no matter what he did this kid wouldn't be intimidated. He supprised me that the boy became the pop star Boy George.

What a beautiful testimony to love. I am a 55 year old female, from scientific background, having heard boy George younger in years. My brother's name is actually George. He is 59. We have a sister too, 11 months more than me. And I was young and into different music but I now just saw the man, the person, behind the costumes and cameras. The gentleness of this man, and of his mom, and the great love between them, that is just beautiful! And George, you have lovely eyes and will till your dying day, made up or not. They are your greatest beauty. They show the state of your soul. It's not about Buddhism either. You've got the sky in your eyes dear man, you shine, you shine, you shine. Tender soul!

Back in the early days of MTV (with music videos) I was watching Karma Chameleon one afternoon and my dad walked into the room, watched for about a minute and then said "She's a really good singer." I told him it was a guy, but he refused to believe it. I said his name was Boy George and my dad walked off with a completely confused look. I never once thought he was a woman - just a guy who liked to wear makeup and eccentric clothing. Been a fan since Culture Club first appeared - Love Boy George and could listen to him talk all day. I recall my first time seeing him on MTV along with a house full of other people. Not anyone judged him for anything other than his incredible talent. Geez, I kind of think he was a relief to many Americans after the end of our hippie revolution...LOL!?!
George is an amazing humble and beautiful soul...I've always and continue to watch him whenever he's on a televised/social media program. He is living proof of a wonderful life after self destruction...
Although I've enjoyed his many looks, George in my opinion has never looked more healthy, nor more beautiful than in present day. A lot to be said for the comfort of loving oneself and coming to terms with an agonizing childhood of dysfunction. In many ways and for many reasons, George is a surv;or who I look up to and hope to one day soon achieve a similar grace.
"I was quite impressed with Morgan's respectful interview with our genuinely incredible forever famous, Boy George."
