    Finally I've found a video like this. It really helped me a lot, so thank you very much! However I still have a few questions:
    - How do I assign the transport buttons (mine are not working, i habe a novation 61 sl mkii btw.)?
    - How can you use e.g. knobs to scroll through patterns and tracks?
    - When you're in the mixer, how do you control more than 9 mixer channels (e.g. from 10-19) if you only have 9 faders?
    I'd be very grateful if you could help me. Have an awesome day!

      This was quite helpful since these informations showed me a lot concerning work flow in FL Studio. I was wondering if you could set up multiple banks of assignment to quickly switch between many different functions. So I have the same question as the poster above me

    Hi! Do you have any video about mapping the channel rack to the controller (specifically drumpads)? I have been trying to map for example a Kick from the channel rack with the first pad of my drum pad, snare with the second pad and so on but is not letting me, only works with FPC but is not the way I would like to make it, can you help me please? I am triying to map a Nord Drum 3p and a Novation launchkey MK2 49. Would be great If you can help me with this. I´m going crazy. :/

    • @OmoiSenpai
      @OmoiSenpai  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Yeah for sure I can actually make a video on that if anything!
      But pretty much, you would have to add a Layer into the Channel Rack.
      Set the different sounds in the channel rack as children in the Layer.
      And set the Zone of the sounds so that each of them are on a key of your choice.
      I'll make a video on this for you some time on Sunday, or maybe even Saturday if I have the time!

    I have a quick question. When you link faders on your controller to Fl Studio mixer is it possible in any way to link the mute mixer track light to the buttons under the faders on my controller?

    • @OmoiSenpai
      @OmoiSenpai  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't believe that you are able to link the Mute/Solo buttons. You can link a mute effect in the insert and perhaps activate that if anything. Or Latch the Fader.

    Hi! maybe you can help me with small problem. I have midi controller notation impulse 61 and I know how to link the knobs and faders in FL Studio but my issue is: When I’ve linked some knobs in some VSTi and use the same knobs in different VSTi and for example in one window I will set one knob on 50% ‘volume’ and then I will jump into second window with other VSTi and touch the same knob to control that the value jumping straight up to 50% to the same position what I’ve been left on the other VSTi. Is there is any way to fix that? I’ve already looked into to both manuals fl and impulse and nothing found 😑

    Thank you so much, Justin, here mastering the FL and midi keys!
    One question:
    I use key lab essential 49, I just started to map the faders and also have a MASTER fader. So I link to the controller, IT WORKS! BUUUUTTTT
    when I move the fader on the keyboard... is not showing the movement on the DAW. The sound goes up or down, all great. But doesn't show it moves. Weird.
    Another thing, it affects the overall sound perception.
    If I have my midi key master fader in 100%, but in the DAW is at 50%, will listen to a lower volume. Does not shows the real value.
    Any suggestions welcome. is a little weird, but anyway..will keep trying to find the way!

    • @OmoiSenpai
      @OmoiSenpai  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey!
      If you've linked the Mixer's Fader with the keyboard's fader, it should show up as movement in the Mixer window. This new Update for FL Studio has quite some bugs in it. That could be the reason why at the moment. Just make sure that you are linking the Fader volume, and not the sample's volume. Just in case! :P
      For the 2nd Question, If the fader on the keyboard is set to 100 ( all the way up ) while the loaded project shows 50 ( last point before saving) It will stay at 50% until you move the fader around.
      I believe that if the faders were "motorized faders," the faders on the keyboard/ device would automatically snap into the right places.
      Along with that, there is 2 "master volume" values within FL Studio.
      One Located at the top, near the "master pitch" knob. It is a knob. Adjusting that knob WILL NOT EFFECT THE FINAL EXPORT. The only difference is the level that you'll be listening to the whole project with. This is something ideal for those who do not have easy access to their headphone amp (or don't like to adjust them over and over)
      The Second One is located in the Mixer Window. Adjusting that one WILL adjust the final outcome of the song.
      I hope this helps! ^_^

      Hey!
      That has to do with using an MPC plugin in your music program. In FL Studio, there is one called FPC! Check that up!
      If you are wondering no how to map the notes to it, check the video I did on the Akai MPD232 since I believe I showed that there!

    I'm trying to link fruity scratcher to the modulation or pitch knob (because I think it may be easier to make a more "natural" performance with the knob than a mouse) but the way you show it doesn't seem to work with the scratcher. My midi keyboard is a keystation 49. Could you explain or show how to proceed?

    Are auralex pads for studio monitors necessary? Do you know if it would really make a huge difference in the quality of the music if use them or no?

    • @OmoiSenpai
      @OmoiSenpai  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was looking at those yesterday actually. What they will do will help reduce the rumbles from the monitor speakers. Apparently the rumble can mess with your hearing of the frequencies.
      For me. I just used the white foam padding that came with the speakers lol.
      Haven't tried the monitors without them on yet thou.
