These are quiet good little winches in my experience. I have one behind the seat of Massey ferguson 35 and its pulled me out a few times plus its great to pull stuff into the transport box on the back
Great review Dave, I’m going to get me a 24 volt version to attach to the front bumper of my eurocargo to pull the jetski and trailer up and out of the sea, my rope will sometimes be catching on concrete steps due to the angle I will be pulling, so I will probably be best to get the wire rope.......though wire might cut a groove into the steps which might be frowned upon by others.....how tough is the synthetic rope? I would much rather that , and maybe if I got a couple of 90 degree plastic chock type blocks I could stop the synthetic rope from getting freaked on the steps......decisions decisions 🤫
Hi, I bought this a few weeks ago now and wondering what kind of battery you use ? I use it for boat trailer with battery in boot of car . the battery i used didnt have enough juice and died
John it doesn’t come with a fuse block I can report. I’m not sure what size fuse would be best but that’s something I will look up for myself and post when I find out. Thanks for the question..👍

If you keep holding the IN button until the hook is tight against the unit, will it turn itself off or will it keep trying to pull in?

Mark Adams yes mate no problem at all. There is about 12m of rope on the winch . Great bit of kit for the money..👍

Ive bought 3 off these 1 every year. Cant get more than a year from them, gave up. I use it for pulling the boat onto the trailer

I have one but nothing on wires to say where to go to battery and winch

Yes longer cables to battery . Red is positive, black negative.
