Your termite soldier casts was so powerful their puspose changed to 'making the raid as hard as possible' to 'killing the matabele as much as possible' i never seen a group of Majors and minors soldier casts hold an entire raiding party of matabele even taking out literally almost all of the raiding party members.
Imagine if all termite colonies were this proactive - the Matabele would have been screwed. It also helps that Termite majors are a lot like Army Ants in that they buff all other termites' attack speed. A large enough group can shred through even level 3 Matabele raiders with little trouble.
@@SeriousGranade well the reason most termite species arent like Macrotermes bellicosus is because their evolution path and what led them to go down the path and its most likely the enemies they fight, scarcity of food, heat and endless conflict
Yea, termites main thing is defense. They are pretty bad at fighting offensive battles. If you stick near your nest, the termite major and minor soldiers can hold out for a while if enough food is available for respawns
@@NappyB1 what about beetles and large earwigs during the first day and night? I'm not sure how to deal with them properly. Seems that large earwigs can be ignored, it helped me to get a bit more food, but it didn't help me to prepare for the raid that much. These creatures also slow me down a lot, and i also get more big earwigs most of the time because of that stupid RNG. I know that you need to wait until the tiger beetles leave but they still somehow screw me
@@NappyB1 I checked some tactics from other players, and it seems that you're a bit ahead of humanity lol. I guess this is just trial and error stuff, you must play this level until your subconscious connects with it at the quantum level and you begin to get good results without noticing it I also noticed that my performance was low because I was trying to get as many minor workers as you, although everyone else had way less of them
lol, I got used to playing fast a while back, and just subconsciously started playing like that, no matter the difficulty. It is also trial and error, knowing when to release earwigs before the stink ants did, which underground enemies are where, etc.
I used all the ants for this run. Minor workers for nest jobs and digesting, major workers for fast gathering, and both soldier castes to fight efficiently together.

@@Nagi_O I meant the genus of Macrotermes bellicosus in general, I should have specified that

Your strategy is soo good!
Thank you!
Nice vid😊
thanks!
I don't understand how to survive day two. I mostly do everything right, except i have less of everything. I don't even know what i need to improve
Speed, you need to improve reaction time and your speed. You’ll need a build quickly to survive and build a big enough force

You can always upgrade your minor workers for 50% more fungus production at level 3. I choose to go for numbers instead.
