A serene & soothing rendition of Bhoopalam ! The ragam has the characteristic emotions of gradually awakening the soul, not like a clamouring alarm, but like a gentle mother, gradually awakening her child, perfectly making it a morning raga. And your rendition beautifully brought out that aspect.
Even the morning sun probably rose from one point in the horizon, but your kalpanaswarams sprang from multiple points adding more lustre to the overall experience :)

Ranjani & Gayatri - the krithi gave various emotions, our activities from dawn to dusk in a day to ones journey in life! The Kalpana swaras, its patterns gave so much emotions and color to the krithi!

As I listen to this piece from my favourite Suprabhatam concert, it definitely FEELS like the morning, even though I'm a twelve hours too late! My favouritest Bhoopalam - everything from the sweet glimpse, the beautiful krithi with those pure glides and gripping madhyama kala portions, and that burst of swarams that fall so unbelievably perfectly in place, for 'Sadaa-' and 'Girijamoham'. So much in less than ten minutes! Mastery.

Soulful Rendering of a Kriti on Sadachaleshvara Swamy.
