I came to volunteer at animal sos and it’s so beautiful to see the care and love that goes into giving all the dogs a second chance at life, I saw how busy you and the team were! Maverick reminds me of my Mal. She is also a dog with a neuro issue and has the wobbles going on. It was worse when she was a puppy. Now she’s grown to be quite a character despite her crazy little wonky ways. You are correct Lucie. Any sort of puppy can become a good pet despite their disabilities and illnesses.
Hoping to see you at the sanctuary soon (I think I have a sanctuary favorite now and she’s in your video as well)

Happy to know that both of you have love for animals and taking care of the abandon animals. Whatever good or bad we do, there will be a time GOD will reward us accordingly. Hope that you open Animal Care Association Centre where many people can give a helping hand to support the animals by contributing animal food, medical aid and etc. Animals have right to live and each of us must take responsibility in our own ways to contribute something for them to survive. Hope that the Sri Lankan government can help out in some way. Both of you are a compatible couple. When anyone is working as a team, their goal is achievable. Lucy you looked amazing. Last year on my birthday i visited Animal SOS with my family and made a donation to help the great work you all do there. Today when you introduced Maverick I had to write to you. We also have a one year old golden retriever called Maverick. He is a very lovable cute dog. Wishing Lahiru a speedy recovery. As always I am so impressed with everything you two do. Most of all the genuine love you have for each other and the way you value simple things in life and always handling every challenge with a smile is remarkable. Good luck for your future.
Lucie, loved this video but I find it heartbreaking with some injuries the animals have. You and Lahiru do amazing jobs at the sanctuary in how many there are there, it's unbelievable and I agree that they need to be neutered to help stop the street dogs breeding so much. Can I suggest that you team up with some Vets who will give there time free to carryout workshops for free sterilizations or Neutering of dogs, I am sure you can get quite a bit of sponsorship from big businesses and well wishes too.
