I ran the race two years ago and loved it. I signed up again coming from AZ. For training, I ran a half marathon in April in Phoenix. Then I did an 8 mile training run in Flagstaff, AZ last weekend. Next, I've got a half marathon coming up at good altitude in Show Low, AZ. Then on June 24 I signed up for a half marathon in Denver. I want to reduce my time from two years ago by over ten minutes if possible. I am very old from Generation X, but I still want to improve relative to two years ago. I loved it out there with my first visit to Mt. Rainier. My sister works in Seattle. It'll be great. The emcee's sense of humor regarding the guy in the sasquatch costume was hilarious - like classic SNL.

My favorite part is when the dude demonstrates the bridge over the river - great enthusiasm!
