"Finish a small game" is the best advice ever. Most new devs try building a big game and never finish it. Do a tiny game based around 1 mechanic, like Snake or Flappy Bird, and release it no matter what.
#1 Start small and gradually grow & #4 Dont just plan do. These both stood out to me the most. Both rules talk about just starting, begin to put action to your dreams and goals. That alone to me begins the process of success as we begin to put forth effort doors of opportunity begin to open. #BTA15 #teammotivation #Believe
New Future Builder I guess that's part of the success of Minecraft. Almost every house has it. Lol We had it on different devices with different people playing. So multiple purchases made in the same household.
"Let others in" is an essential tool for life. Being vulnerable is the way to open up and grow. LOVED this compilation. Thanks for putting it together!
Love #6 here. I think its amazing when you can get paid to do what you do and still dabble with it on your own time for fun. It does sharpen the learning curve tremendously because of the amazing level of engagement!
Evan, love the Top 10 Rules series. Could you please add Gary Vaynerchuk and Travis Kalanick to the list? More people need to know about them and their lessons. Keep up the good work. Thanks!
I think, The Rules For Success, depends on what you are trying to achieve and on the person itself. So, although these are good rules, I wouldn't advice anyone to follow it or any other rules, because like notch said, he was only trying to make a game, and it was a success, he didn't plan the success or all the money he got ... My personal advice is, do what you like to and make some effort to stick with it, if you are unhappy with what you do, you will probably never find success and when you get old, only regret will stay with you.
8.Don't pressure yourself. has the biggest impact on me, and I liked that when he said " working on something that it's supposed to become something but not feeling pressure like if you has too", Interesting. I'm still thinking about it. Can you do Top 10 Rules of Justin Timberlake? Thanks.

Perhaps you could check out online free courses from Coursera, Novoed etc. just need to search for courses you might like. Thank you very much for your question and for any other question, it would be great if you could post it under the comments of this video #7 Ways - What Topic Should I Cover Next? th-cam.com/video/sXgcP79xrNQ/w-d-xo.html so Evan might be able to answer it doing a #7Ways video for it or in another video especially if more people will vote or like your question. All the best to you! Much love. #Believe :) #BTA627 Shine
Hi, work on it daily. Find one course and finish that. dont try to do everything at once. google, try, read, search. talk and ask questions to classmates, teachers, youtubers... Expect ups and downs... just dont let go. Good luck!!!
