The ability to copy and paste your coordinates is a great way to share your location with someone who does not have onX. I always send mine to my wife and dad before I climb any tree for safety reasons.

Greg mentioned the following, “we could make a whole video on that”, (Ted and Jake’s October double buck day), referring to the distinct sounds made depending on shot placement. (Lung, liver, gut, etc arrow impact sound).
This would be awesome to me. Even if its a short or a brief coaching moment video. Btw, a search on TH-cam doesn’t bring up a single video on this subject.
Love the content, and it’s appreciated. Thanks.

Awesome video! I really wish we had the option to select a Fall/ Winter Base map. It would make it so much easier to see edges and changes in types of timber say pine and cedars. I appreciate you guys going in depth with this! Good luck this Deer tour !!

There is actually a leaf-off imagery option now, you can toggle it where you select your basemap. The leaf-off imagery isn't available everywhere but it seems like its available in most places, or at least in most of the places that I've looked.

How do you guys deal with the outdated imagery? I've talked with support many times and have been repeatedly told that images are average 4-5 years old. A LOT can and has changed in my hunting areas in that amount of time. One property I hunt has been sold three different times and OnX still shows the original owners name. I find it hard to use when I'm not sure the info I'm receiving is even close to being accurate?

We should be able to use OnX Hunt in landscape mode on iPad!!! I’m tired of having to take my iPad out of the magic keyboard. It is too darn slippery and I also have to do the typing with my fingers and can’t use the trackpad. People aren’t taking their iPad out in the field. We use our phones out there. Please - landscape mode for iPad.

I wish onx would update the maps. I'm in northeast Wisconsin and the maps from onx is out of date by 5-6 years. Hard to us a map that shows timber in an area and when you show up the timber was clear cut 5 years ago. I'm getting very disappointed with onx.

@@tommyboy0379 checked it. App is up to date. The app does notify me when there is an update and I do it immediately. I have even tried to uninstall it and then reinstall it. Still the same out of date maps.

Hey guys big fan. I currently use hunt stand. My main concern is that I’m a public land hunter and let’s say there is a state or county piece I’m interested in when you click on it it does not say if it’s hunt able or not. If you use onx does it say like hunting “yes” or “no”? Just curious for some info because if it does I will buy it. Thank you guys

I'd suggest not to use shredded cotton balls. I'd bet processed cotton has scent for deer to notice. Plastic from package? Grease/oil from picker/gin factory? If you're hunting near a road or houses might be okay, or if you live down south and pick it from field?

The bad part about smaller parcels are the bucks will move around the ridge and bed with the wind hitting them. They sneak around the back or over the top coming into oaks. Mountain bucks are unique
