Story time. I've only been growing for about 3 years. Every round came with some sort of problem or deficiency. To be honest, I was getting frustrated. While I was looking for new (to me) methods and techniques I found bas. I watched and rewatched seasons 1-3, took notes and finally a few months ago I went all in. Bought a grassroots 3×3 filled it bas light purchased the craft blend the rootwise trinity and started a new run. Followed bas way and last week harvested the biggest healthiest plants I've ever had. Thank you Jeremy and bas for everything. I will never go back.

Hey BAS crew thanks for all the knowledge you share! Hands down the best grow videos on the tube! Back in season 2, episode 8 I think. Jeremy mentions about how you might run 9 plants in the 3 x 3 to see if you can achieve the same yield with less veg time. Do you think you may still try this at some point? ✌️👊🏻💚

Jeremy these FAQs are great. The value is tremendous. Each time you cover at least 1 ? current on my grows. I know I am not the only one who gets this timely benefit. Started growing with ILGM (disappointing) & found BAS after. My success has been fantastic, all my friends who have shared in this agree that the living soil raised buds are special. On my 5th cycle now with 2 small basement tents with low budget of retiree. Last frost in New England last night so teens of Sun Shine Day Dream seeds shared to me are heading out for the season.

Hey Jeremy! I have a question for the next FAQ. While using the different types of soil, 3.0 or Light, after a few cycles, and with all the worm castings and amending, wouldn't the soil be more or less the same? For example, if you did one earthbox with Light, and one with 3.0, ran 3 or 4 cycles and amended with Craft Blend /whatever else, would those soils be nutritionally different because we started off with two different soil bases, or would it be about the same because over time everything would breakdown and be replaced fairly evenly in each earthbox? Side note - just got into outdoor veggie gardening this year and everything clicked for me. I really understand all the things you say about being full and fulfilled and really feeling apart of nature and connected. You're a huge inspiration and I've learned so much from you!

Moving bed. Lift each corner enough to slide a rolling plant caddy under it. Slide as many as you need under it. As the tent edge you have another set of caddies outside and move it partially out, then 2wo more (or get the first two) plant caddies outside the tent and slide it all the way out. Now it's on wheels.

Earth Box Question: I'm about to finish my 4th back-to-back grow in my Earth Box. At what point do you recommend "resetting" the Earth Box?
I'm thinking of mixing half of the "mature" Earth Box soil with some fresh BAS3.0. The other half of the Earth Box material will go into a worm bin for future use. Do you have different or additional suggestions?
Also, will you be updating your "Official BAS Feed Schedule" to include newer items like Gnar Bar and the Mustard Seed Meal? Big Thanks!!!

Hello, would the bas team be willing to try the 12/1 lighting schedule in the 4x4 next round? Maybe for next season?
12 hours ON, 5.5 hours OFF, 1 hour ON, and 5.5 hours OFF for each 24 hour period. This is only for VEGETATIVE PERIOD.
When we begin flowering, move everything to 11 hours on, and 13 hours off. You will keep this for 2 weeks, then drop the lighting period by 30 minutes, I.E. after two weeks you will switch to 10.5 hours on, and 13.5 hours off. Continue this 30 minute drop every 2 weeks until you reach 9 hours on/ 15 hours off. Finish your flowering at this lighting.

Hello Jeremy. I am part owner of an Medical Marijuana grow. I started watching at season on and I was completely sold on the concepts that Build a soil teaches. I managed to convince my partners to invest in 2 pallets of 3.0 soil along with most of build a soils recommended amendments. Our first crop just finished using the build a soil system using some 15 gallons, a 4x4 bed with a coots recipe soil mix, some earth boxes and even 2 homemade SIP containers. We just got our testing back and we failed due to cadmium. The cutoff to pass is 300 PPB and we tested out at 316 and 323 on our primary and reserve samples. We were devastated. Where do we go from here? We already have round 2 in those same containers reamended with the craft blend. And another crop right behind it in fresh 3.0 soil in homemade SIP containers. Is there anything that we can do to limit the uptake of cadmium that won’t mess up our current crops underway. Please help!

For the next q&A could you go over your thoughts on Freeze Drying Flower not for hash? been thinking of getting a freeze dryer to dry bubble hash but also wondering if it could help me get a better dry. im in phx and running an ac to keep a tent 60/60 for 14 days is expensive. almost seems i need to jar it sooner, as i seem to end up 45-55% in the jars. even with trying to keep the humidity up in the dry tent. thanks jeremy stoked for this next season. i think the comparison on container size is going to teach people alot. i know going even from 10-15 gal has made my grows even easier.

Hi Jeremy. Much grower love to you and yours!! Thanks for all you do and the knowledge you have given to all of us.
FAQ question for you. I live in the Deep South where the humidity can be stifling. I accidentally left my bag of build-a-bloom cracked open last fall and it is now a solid rock. I have been stabbing it with a kitchen knife to break off chunks, but in a more lucid moment realized that was quite stupid and dangerous. Any recommendations for bringing a bag of Build-a-Bloom back from its now solid form state?

Thanks again for your knowledge and expertise. Living in Maryland and in July, we are going to be legal to grow two plants, so it's autopot xxl or 2 earthboxes to grow my own medicine.

I’ve been struggling with rove beetles flying around. What can I do to keep them on the beneficial side and not have them be an issue? I had some dispersed in my previous run and had to tweeze some out during flower and after harvest. I’ve been using the mustard meal and an occasional heavy q rate in between runs the last few weeks but am seeing an increase in their number. I did top dress between and haven’t planted back in yet. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hello. Not sure if you have ever answered this question - If I add Rootwise Mycrobe Complete and Jay Plantspeaker Saponaria to the water, how many days will it last? Is there a general rule or does it depend and whatever you're adding?
Thanks and keep up the outstanding work!

Would the 4x4 bed fit in a 4x4 tent? Or should I go with a 3x3 for my tent

Have you heard about sonic bloom? Playing a certain frequency to help stimulate the plants…. Is there anything to it? Could that be an experiment some day?

Can I use the BAS Way with a 2x2 tent or is that too small?

Is it OK to germinate auto flower seed in 1% H2O2 using paper towel method and plant germinated seed into final container or is it better to plant seed directly into final container and hope for the best. Thanks I appreciate any knowledge shared.

    Hi Jeremy,
I went out and invested in 10 bags of 3.0 soil for my 20 gallon outdoor pots, and I am dying to get my starts from my indoor tent outdoors. What would you suggest I do once I get them planted? Should I start applying top dressing, cover crop, mulch, amendments? Or should I let the plants live off the soil for a while before I start adding to it?
