This season with the Buc's was the greatest achievement for Brady. Pandemic, no pre-season, no practice, and to smash the Chiefs to win the SB, was simply outstanding.

Brady’s hood, chasis, engine and wheels have all been examined thoroughly and he is a serious winner.

I know that Tyler Johnson made one of the most spectacular catches I have ever seen in my 50 some years of watching football. It was a great game, but that reception stands out in my mind the most, just like Scotty Miller’s TD catch in the championship game against the Packers. The Bucs were just on fire in the post season, winning three straight road games, then being the first team to host a Super Bowl.
What an exciting season for us Buccaneers fans. It’s been a long time coming, but they gave us a show that was worth the wait, beating out three of the best QBs in the game today! You got to give Todd Bowles and that defense some serious credit. They didn’t give any of those pro bowl level QBs, including the league’s MVP, any time to breathe... and that was mostly with just the front four rushing!
The entire defense should have gotten the MVP of the super bowl, just for shutting out Patrick Mahomes. Who would have thought going into that game that he wouldn’t score a single TD? No one. You could have gotten 100 to 1 odds on that bet.

The Bucs should win the division this season, especially if Brees really retires. I still can’t believe they won all three games on the road, especially after being swept by New Orleans during the season.
It was funny they had to go to Washington since they had a better record than Washington. The NFC East is really horrible. I kept telling my brother that whoever won that division might not even have a winning record.
At least this season, whoever wins the NFC East will have to come to Raymond James, I would expect. I hope the Bucs win the number one seed, with home games all the way. Although, last season they had a better road record than they did at Raymond James, so maybe it’s not a good thing to get #1 seed?
Anyway, Tom is going for three in a row. He has no intention of retiring unless the Bucs don’t make the playoffs, then he may retire. They seem to have re-signed most everyone important, so there is no excuse for them not to coast through the season. Most teams can become complacent after winning the Super Bowl, but not with Brady they won’t.
It was obvious that the Chiefs thought it was owed to them to win back-to-back and thought they could phone it in. They took the Bucs lightly and it cost them big time. I think the Bucs would have won even if the Chiefs took it serious and played 100%, but it probably wouldn’t have been such an ass-kicking. Shutting out Patrick Mahomes is not an easy task, but that Buc defense did it. No TDs for the overrated Mahomes.
No team with a guy named Tom Brady on it will be complacent. That word is not in any dictionary in Tom’s library, nor in his vocabulary. Brady will keep that team fired up, so there is no reason for them not to repeat. I hope so. I like Brady and I like the Bucs, so that works out good for me. I’m glad Tom has had an opportunity to prove he was not great only because of the Belichick system. The record speaks for itself, Brady 1 Belichick 0 on Super Bowls so far. Tom was not ever a system QB.

Was an amazing year. To watch that team come together as the year went on and figure it out as a TEAM was special. They DOMINATED once they found themselves. Sad tho injuries plagued the seasons after because i dont think they hit their peak as they started to in this playoffs moving forward but it was fun to watch.

It has been decades since an intelligent quarterback with the skill set
of Tom Brady has been in the NFL. He is able to scan the defenders and

@@petersydow4002 I "cherry pick" as you put it because Brady's arm, athleticism, Zen, whatever you want to worship him for was not the critical thing that won the SB for the Bucs. Usually when you throw 3 picks in a Conf. Championship game you go home. The Bucs defense stepped up and bailed him out. If they hadn't you would be sitting here saying Brady was washed up. Mahomes is a better athlete with a better arm. What Brady brought was leadership, culture and confidence. He elevated everyone around him including the Bucs defense. His play was solid but not superhuman. Watch the way his receivers listen to him when he is talking to them on the bench. His leadership is what made the difference.

If there's one thing that stands out in my mind about this whole thing of why any team would want to rebuild after winning a championship makes no sense to me at all. Look what happened to the Bulls due to Jerry Krause and now the New England Patriots due to Belichick. Start making these kind of changes of which only results in losing and then lose stadium attendance and then television ratings which both loses money, not to mention also merchandise retail sales of which all loses money. As far as I can see, the here and now in sports is what means the most when it comes to anything, especially when you're winning. I mean if the whole goal is to win it all and your team has a history of doing so; why mess that up?
