Cape Girardeau, Missouri Then and Now

These are photo's of a few places in Cape Girardeau. What it looked like 1901 - 1979 and then today. I think it is sad to lose such historic places or tear them down for parking space. I want to see more buildings with character and less of the boring buildings. I DO NOT MAKE A DIME OFF OF THIS VIDEO. I do not own the music or pictures in this video. I mean nothing but respect to the people who have taken these photos. Unfortunately I was not alive when most of these building were standing or these pictures were taken. My only intention is to inspire curiosity and spark another's interest in history the way each of these sources has inspired me.
