    Beautiful! I do a mala of 9 line Migtsemas on the 25th day of the month in the lunar calendar - traditionally Lama Tsongkhapa day.

      Yoko Dharma - the singer - has a magnificent voice and created the surrounding music. The main chant is the one used traditionally in many Gelug practices. Thank you for your comment!

    Is it true that Lama Tsonkapa brought Buddhism to Tibet? If so, then we owe him an immense debt. Because Buddhism was wiped out in India. Our Tibetan brothers preserved the teachings until the modern time.

      A number of great teachers brought Buddhism to Tibet. The most famous would be Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava, specifically for Vajrayana Buddhism. Atisha and many others are also famous for bringing precious teachings and guidance. Lama Tsongkhapa is a glorious being, but he was born in Amdo Tibet and became the most important Enlightened teacher in Tibet, founder of the Gelug school. He's also known as the pre-eminent commentator on the teachings that come from India - his knownledge and wisdom was certainly that of an Enlightened mind. For this reason, her certainly increased the popularity of Buddhism in Tibet, and clarified practices.

      @@peterdittler7068 No, once Buddhism was about to be wiped out of Tibet, so he traveled from Bengal to Tibet and preserved the teaching . His books name is ' lamp on the path of englitenment ' (sorry for bad English )😄

      Padmasambava brought Buddhism to Tibet in the 8th century maybe some 300 years before the time of Atisha. a lot of people are confused about the timeline of Padmasambava, Atisha and Je Tsongkapa which goes 8th century, 11th century and 14th century. they all contributed brilliantly to Tibetan Buddhism

    Para que la tradición de Yhe Tsongkhapa, el Rey del Dharma, pueda florecer, que todos los obstáculos sean pacificados y que abunden las circunstancias favorables.
    Que gracias a las dos acumulaciones, mías y de otros, reunidas durante los tres tiempos, pueda la doctrina del Vencedor Losang Dragpa BRILLAR PARA SIEMPRE.

      Dear Dharma Friend, We working on it. We have asked Yoko Dharma's kind permission, which she enthusiastically endorsed, and we are working on that as a video, along with some of her other mantras. We don't know what you mean by "no musical breaks" but we cannot manipulate someone else's music, so it will be just as she recorded in the studio. We have a one hour video of Migstema coming. • @BuddhaWeekly
      @BuddhaWeekly  3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Migstema is the praise mantra of the great Buddha Lama Tsongkhapa. As he embodies the compassion of Avalokiteshvara, the Wisdom of Manjushri and the Power of Vajrapani, his practice is extremely helpful in any of those areas. The benefits of the powerful Migtsema prayer or mantra is well-documented by many great teachers of the Gelug lineage - including H.H. Dalai Lama, H.E. Lama Zopa Rinpoche, H.E. Zasep Tulku Rinpoche. Its beauty and simplicity and benefits are near-legendary.
