He started talking about how it's a going 2nd deck and I realized that TMTs are really entertaining as long as it isn't a deck you, the viewer, know how to play.
i think that madolche going first with gozen, herald and dimension shifter is much better then this list. Going second the deck does not have enough to offer, but if you go first you have a negate with promenade, protection for the madolche spells/traps with sistart and a "towers" with glassoufler.
You can end on Teacher (as your 5th summon) + promenade with either anjelly, peting or mag. Normal Anjelly - Spec peting - Spec hootcake - hootcake specgelato - add salon - gelato + peting = Teacher. Then, to play around nibiru, you save teachers effect until EP to trigger Salon and set promenade in EP. The other lines are: Spec peting - spec anjelly - anjelly spec hootcake - hootcake spec gelato - add salon - make teacher. Normal Mag - add peting - spec peting - spec anjelly - peting + mag for teacher - anjelly spec hootcake - hootcake spec gelato - gelato add salon - gelato + hootcake = sistart.
Yea madolche easily died to 2 or more negation so going first is better for them but they probably need more support to make the deck basically good in both control and give them more good spell/trap card like promenade
I feel like you misplayed the deck at times but still showcased what Madolche can and can't do, thank you for sharing the knowledge with fellow sweet enjoyers.
i love a more Pure madolche build. M. Nights is a decently high ceiling to resolve off the searches, but my 1st turn boards can often get me at least Promnade and nights together to do my 2 SEARCHABLE negates. one omni and a monster negate. i didnt knew about Gamma Driver, i might want to try it here, cause that play seemed amazing. one garnet aint too bad considering how strong gamma is. about some of the duels, impretty sure everyone already pointed out that MBT extended the plays the wrong way... also wasted NORMAL summons that could had saved his bum against the sword souls, unsure... why he didnt. but its still a good effort. good video.
the actual strat is 3 salon so you can normal summon magilene twice, add petingcesour, and go into traptrix rafflesia to make the rest of your board nibiru proof :3
You don't need to run Raff per se. The actual Salon strat is whatever you want other than zero nowadays, depending on your build. The best method, as David pointed out, is to go Small Combo (Glass, Sistart, Hoot, Salon, Promenade) so you don't even have to worry about Nibiru. ALSO, some of our lists run Nibiru anyways and Crossout exists, but that's not really the point here :3
I remember having a super good back and forth duel with Madolches while I was using Dragonmaids. Lasted like 10 turns and I lost in the end, but it was fun just bc I never dueled Madolches before
Their LV 3s need love. I would love a rank3 madolche monster that helps extend (sending the trap to the grave for example), and a level 3 that can SS from the hand by controlling another madolche monster. Might be interesting to have the rank3 interact with the banished pile in some way, making the deck truly endless, as it aims to be.
@@harryc657 i mean if that existed,Leviair is way better option than your idea for madolche rank 3 since it can recover either Anjelly for madolche plays or handtraps like Ash so you can go needlefibler for more plays as long you don't use pentingcess other effect ss other madolche from your deck I doubt when they release rank 3 madolche, they probably not going to do banish zone and if they do,it instantly not good as Leviair since the card probably lock you to ss 1 madolche from banish zone instead of hand traps which what you use hootcake most of the time since they're mostly useless unless you have teacher to reset it
Tiramisu is one of my favorite deserts, so I know this is going to be a sweet video - Wait, it's about Madolches, not cooking the desert? Still a sweet video!
I love Madolches tbh. It's my only deck on master duel and even without small world I've gotten to platinum. The OTK potential is stupid and because you have called by the grave at 2 it's a little bit better. As long as you don't forgot what prosperity does when faced with that Maxx c challenge you're good lmao. Sucks drawing both hootcakes, messengelatos and/or the puddingcess but besides that they're are a lot of fun.
okay, so why 1 salon? I get that the deck has been "solved" but Madolche can honestly kind of struggle playing through handtraps and interruption. Salon is the best way of playing around that with the double normal summon. And salon can even turn some of your worst hands into at least some sort of interruption by setting promenade from deck.
Salon is about the worst way to play around handtraps behind ctbg, crossout, IF, herald and sauravis. It requires your opponent to play sub optimally and you to have 2 starters + salon which is rather low. Outside of that specific scenario the card does nothing much as its just a search for a card you'd get anyway.
@@DavidGreen-ly5tm Called by is at 1, the deck can't afford to play too many crossout targets, herald isn't always live, and Sauvaris is pretty bad and only protects against 2 handtraps while Salon is always a decent extender, vital in any grind game, and you never mind using your Messengelato searchers on the other targets. I'm always happy seeing Salon in my opening; it's only really bad when you open multiples but that's true with any other card in the game.
@@R3dbul7 the deck can afford to play literally every possible relevant target for crossout except gamma (and even that, only because you never would want to see it). I agree herald and sauravis are not good for interacting with opponents hts (herald is amazing for winning games though) the point is that they are still better than extra salons at doing what you want from salon AND do more when you dont need to extend.
This reminds me of that ProZD video about card game turns that go well. Especially when he keeps talking about desserts going into other desserts against birds going into other birds
I disagree about it being lackluster going second. If your combos go off, you'll have an onmi-negate, a graveyard dusruptor, and a battle immune hoot (if targeted by glass, makes it untouchable by monsters). If you have face up spells, you can recur your monsters and traps for third turn (why he chose to run one promenade and salon is anybody`s guess). This is enough to stop most decks in their tracks. I even stopped META phantom knights with this setup. I like to run a pack of board breakers like Evenly Matched (which is excellent in the TCG right now), kaijus, and DRNMs.
Considering Meta PK setups their board by using Cherubini, that is absolutely not happening under Glassoufle. Effect Veiler cannot stop it, but Glassouffle can.
10:59 really reminds me of the first Madolche TMT in which you performed a similar misplay on Game 2. Had you summoned Magilene first, it would have been C1: Magi C2: Ash C3: Gamma, search Petting, then go Petting Pudding, proccing DPE, removing Pudding, and now you overlay into Glass and spin the DPE. You could have easily won that game, yes, even with the Imperial Order.
Have you stopped including side boards in the games? Otherwise, it seems pretty weird the swordsoul player kept in token collector lol Edit: I guess so looking at the deck list again
last game you could've summoned hoot instead of peting when used gamma to push through your anjelly. Either he pops hoot there or you can continue with combo. If he pops there you can make omega put in more damage then rip with omega. Then you bring him back during standby try to use small world get ordered, enter bp and try to attack over destroyer he pops then you just go main 2 summon jelly into peting and hoot who summons gelato and then search trap. Overlay for teacher and then go to endphase shuffle enforcer and the trap back. then he top decks fusion and the set spell are both dead and you have the trap for taia and follow up.
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I'M COMPLETELY SATISFIED I CAN DIE HAPPY NOW. Honestly without your opponent cheating you had it . Great display of an permanent teir 3 deck.
For the maximus targets, run @Ignister pegasus and omega since it lets u be able to both reset ur grave and u can also go into omega with ur psyframes A dogmatika player just scooped to that in a game i played
Next we need a deck that makes use of Sealmaster Meisei, Talisman of Spell/Trap Sealing and Splendid Venus. Splendid Venus will allow both of the Talismans to be active at the same time while using Sealmaster Meisei as Xyz material to prevent them from destroying themselves. Bonus points for using The Monarchs Erupt by tribute summoning Splendid Venus for a Skill Drain effect on top of it.
that deck profile was awful, madolche does end with a singular negate, but the actual card that matters is glassouffle due to it's second effect which literally nobody on the planet has ever read, the point of going first with madolche is to survive till turn 3 and just otk your opponent from then
I was saying the same thing the entire video. The meta dictates if Madolche is a going first or second deck. Right now its a going first deck focused around glass. Tiara is a end gamer but glass is the decks current boss monster imo.
Enjoye your videos a lot. Recently got back into the game when master duel came out. It’s great to see decks that aren’t just meta…mostly cause everyone can look for it themselves and netdeck it. Specially enjoy watching you banlist tournaments and not sure if ya do normal tournaments but if ya do I woudl watch em. Keep it up and best of luck to you irl.
Been playing madolche for a few years now at least and that little sum up at the video end hits hard. Each win makes it feel like I just had to use every wit in my body to play around negates and each loss feels their cards was just better
Watching you use Anjelly on that match to go into Peting instead of having Magi simply grab her for free without having to use Anjelly would have been full combo. Even if he had DPE pop Puddingcess, you could have still had Glass out and protected yourself for next turn, allowing for a potential win. I say potential because it's still entirely possible that he just waits to pop Chocolat but at least you'd have more opportunities. Imperial Order really screws with our deck though. Absolutely need Tiaramisu or Promenade to get past it. Madolche is one of my favorite decks. Not because it's unstoppable, but because it's always consistently good enough to contend with almost any deck. It's very rare to completely shut down Madolche unless they brick or you just open all negates first turn (Which basically stops any deck). The lack of power is definitely something I've noticed hindering my plays though, so I've opted to adding in one copy of Lesson to give that beefy 800 atk which is usually more than enough to either hit the OTK or give me more of an out against hefty boards. The ability to send any non-madolche monster is nice as well. I just wish Lesson stated that you needed a Madolche card and not a monster for it to work.
It wouldn't have been, because our opponent had Ash. Anjelly was absolutely the better play because we had Gamma in hand and we were able to activate it since Anjelly tributes for cost. Now, it wasn't the PERFECT PLAY: remember the introduction? "A searchable Kaiju is pretty decent as well". We didn't activate Small World at all for some reason. Kaiju the DPE, normal Anjelly, and the game is over. We had game 3 in the bag.
@@TheKABE09 it's not too bad against madolche, you can banish dimension shifter with hootcake to summon petting, then summon either mesengelato for searching or puddingcessour to destroy cards your opponent controls. So basically you play madolche control with promenade and other backrows. Plus if you think about it most of the current meta doesn't do anything under dimension shifter, pk, swordsould etc all basically end their turn after dimension shifter comes out
@@TheKABE09 you do the basic turn 1 combo (hoot with teacher, salon, and prom set) then you endphase drop shifter with empty gy. when it comes back to your turn shifter wont be active anymore

Not a big fan of some of the deck choices. Lightning storm feels like a dead card too often when your goal is to have stuff on board all the time. That pot really kills the otk potential of the deck too. You dont need to keep the gy empty all the time. You want to manage the gy so that you end with 1-2 things in there so that you can use promenade or sistart more effectively, while taking advantage of ticket and salon on the enemy turn. You can run a lot more negates too.
I'd drop the Pot (or at least make it 1-2) for more handtraps for the sole reason that Small World exists. Also people forget that most turn 1 players who run negates/disruption play them in Defense Position, which instantly makes Lightning Storm useless in that scenario. Even Droplets is a better response than Lightning Storm, even if I do want at least 1 for trap decks.
This deck is already bad. No Crossout Designator. Salon you should always run at least 2 of if not 3. And 2 Promenade is really good for negating face up cards.
@@geiseric222 I think thats the issue. Madolche is considered a blind second deck but it actually functions better as a going first deck because of how strong glass is in the current meta. Being able to disrupt a players graveyard an on field negate and hand traps go a long way. If you get the normal combo line a hootcake that is unable to be destroyed by battle and card effect allows for a much easier otk on turn 3. People are running the deck like it's still 2014 glass has added a whole new element.
Madolche isn't a blind second deck in the current meta. It USED to be blind second, before Teacher and before the current meta of negates at the end of turn1 Current Madolche can play first or second, and when going second crossout isn't actually that bad because it can banish your own handtrap monsters as well, freeing Peting

I love how candid Joseph is about "I'm doing this because I was literally paid to"
i think that madolche going first with gozen, herald and dimension shifter is much better then this list.
The other lines are:
Spec peting - spec anjelly - anjelly spec hootcake - hootcake spec gelato - add salon - make teacher.
Normal Mag - add peting - spec peting - spec anjelly - peting + mag for teacher - anjelly spec hootcake - hootcake spec gelato - gelato add salon - gelato + hootcake = sistart.
My favorite deck
Can't wait to judge MBT on his plays
nice pfp
I love how you can tell that MBT didn't actually play the Madolche deck in any of the games.
I’ve never clicked on a video so fast
I was watching these duels live. It was quite a treat to see funny dialouge behind the scenes.
Madolches ability to main d shifter did a lot for it. Someone at my locals had a lot of success with the deck last year
10:00 if he summuned teacher instead of tiramisu he might had a change cause the dpe will get destroyed and he can shuffle it to the extra
really weird to make Tiaramisu there too - I don't think it was even live to force the DPE?
honestly going first madolche is the better build right now even if going second feels more natural
Agreed
Yea madolche easily died to 2 or more negation so going first is better for them but they probably need more support to make the deck basically good in both control and give them more good spell/trap card like promenade
I feel like you misplayed the deck at times but still showcased what Madolche can and can't do, thank you for sharing the knowledge with fellow sweet enjoyers.
i love a more Pure madolche build.
M. Nights is a decently high ceiling to resolve off the searches, but my 1st turn boards can often get me at least Promnade and nights together to do my 2 SEARCHABLE negates.
one omni and a monster negate.
i didnt knew about Gamma Driver, i might want to try it here, cause that play seemed amazing.
one garnet aint too bad considering how strong gamma is.
about some of the duels, impretty sure everyone already pointed out that MBT extended the plays the wrong way...
also wasted NORMAL summons that could had saved his bum against the sword souls, unsure... why he didnt.
but its still a good effort.
good video.
He is right about one thing: it is difficult to master. If you just look at the combo you'd go "oooh blind second" when it's not.
the actual strat is 3 salon so you can normal summon magilene twice, add petingcesour, and go into traptrix rafflesia to make the rest of your board nibiru proof :3
Or just dont play into nibiru and cut 3 suboptimal cards from your list
You don't need to run Raff per se.
The actual Salon strat is whatever you want other than zero nowadays, depending on your build.
The best method, as David pointed out, is to go Small Combo (Glass, Sistart, Hoot, Salon, Promenade) so you don't even have to worry about Nibiru.
ALSO, some of our lists run Nibiru anyways and Crossout exists, but that's not really the point here :3
@@Ungragu yea but i like raff tho
@@DavidGreen-ly5tm cowardice will not reward you on the jelly battlefields
@@AliceCWillow what? In no war ever was improved tactics dismissed as cowardice. At least not by the winning side :)
dimension shifter can not only be used, but recycled and reused in the deck keeping the grave empty.
i thought D.D. Crow was going to cause problems. but Pot of Prosperity was a much bigger problem
MBT a vinesauce fan? I hear speeeen and my brainwaves all activate at once
I remember having a super good back and forth duel with Madolches while I was using Dragonmaids. Lasted like 10 turns and I lost in the end, but it was fun just bc I never dueled Madolches before
Well, madolche still is madolche. Concidering how long it's been since their last support, there should be something new this year
I hope so: just give me an archetype handtrap and I'll be happy.
@@harryc657 i mean if that existed,Leviair is way better option than your idea for madolche rank 3 since it can recover either Anjelly for madolche plays or handtraps like Ash so you can go needlefibler for more plays as long you don't use pentingcess other effect ss other madolche from your deck
I doubt when they release rank 3 madolche, they probably not going to do banish zone and if they do,it instantly not good as Leviair since the card probably lock you to ss 1 madolche from banish zone instead of hand traps which what you use hootcake most of the time since they're mostly useless unless you have teacher to reset it
And so, it became true. Vernusylph Madolche is a thing now
Tiramisu is one of my favorite deserts, so I know this is going to be a sweet video -
Wait, it's about Madolches, not cooking the desert?
Still a sweet video!
I love Madolches tbh. It's my only deck on master duel and even without small world I've gotten to platinum. The OTK potential is stupid and because you have called by the grave at 2 it's a little bit better. As long as you don't forgot what prosperity does when faced with that Maxx c challenge you're good lmao. Sucks drawing both hootcakes, messengelatos and/or the puddingcess but besides that they're are a lot of fun.
11:37 I love how MBT is trying to send himself to hell.
okay, so why 1 salon? I get that the deck has been "solved" but Madolche can honestly kind of struggle playing through handtraps and interruption. Salon is the best way of playing around that with the double normal summon. And salon can even turn some of your worst hands into at least some sort of interruption by setting promenade from deck.
Simple, he is wrong.
Madolche plays Salon at 3 copies, if you find yourself overly stuffed you can maybe go down to 2 but Never to 1.
Lightning storm into set 4 is just the stones. You’re too good 05:00 😂
10:59 really reminds me of the first Madolche TMT in which you performed a similar misplay on Game 2.
You cant gamma ash if magi is on field.
and now I'm thoroughly reminded why I don't play Gamma... sigh.
i love this deck's concept and i've played it online, but i seriously want to buy this for in person because it's such a cute deck
I bought it when it was expensive.

Have you stopped including side boards in the games? Otherwise, it seems pretty weird the swordsoul player kept in token collector lol
Edit: I guess so looking at the deck list again
When will a Marincess Ten-minute testing arrive? Since they have new support comming and have A LOT of sinregy with the Adventurer engine.
How? The token is earth and you can only summon water monsters. Swordsoul matches up better.

last game you could've summoned hoot instead of peting when used gamma to push through your anjelly.
For the maximus targets, run @Ignister pegasus and omega since it lets u be able to both reset ur grave and u can also go into omega with ur psyframes

Aaaah, cakes. Who doesn't love cakes? I mean, there's a reason why it's my favorite deck.
Bonus points for using The Monarchs Erupt by tribute summoning Splendid Venus for a Skill Drain effect on top of it.
now all we need is mbt to flounder a bit with predaplant and i will be perfectly entertained
that deck profile was awful, madolche does end with a singular negate, but the actual card that matters is glassouffle due to it's second effect which literally nobody on the planet has ever read, the point of going first with madolche is to survive till turn 3 and just otk your opponent from then
I was saying the same thing the entire video. The meta dictates if Madolche is a going first or second deck. Right now its a going first deck focused around glass. Tiara is a end gamer but glass is the decks current boss monster imo.
@@radyish5840 yeah glass literally does everything for the deck
Enjoye your videos a lot. Recently got back into the game when master duel came out. It’s great to see decks that aren’t just meta…mostly cause everyone can look for it themselves and netdeck it. _WHEN THE ORDER IS IMPERIAL_
Ah the deck with SO much grind you would think it worked for Hooters. A food themed hooters
Is that a deck name typo I see during the profile?
Those intros are gold
I did not think you’d be willing to play Madolche after that 7-hour Playoffs episode with them.
tbf that wasnt constructed Madolche
that was limited Madolche without their board cleaners that let them do more than stare at the opponent
Dude, you HAVE to play dimension shifter in this deck, it's the perfect counter vs the current meta
It also counters Madolche in itself lmao

In game 3, mag into peting would’ve won the game. If dpe popped mag the search would still resolve, and if they elected to pop peting instead they could’ve made glass with mag and cess.
It’s an otk deck you should win before having a second turn for Storm to be dead
I dont count on that being the case all the time. I prefer to run more negates and twin twister, since they are live for more cases
@@ruin6702 but this is a blind second deck. You break your opponents board or you lose
I'd drop the Pot (or at least make it 1-2) for more handtraps for the sole reason that Small World exists. Also people forget that most turn 1 players who run negates/disruption play them in Defense Position, which instantly makes Lightning Storm useless in that scenario. Even Droplets is a better response than Lightning Storm, even if I do want at least 1 for trap decks.
still waiting on that updated utopia testing em bee tee
In the way he says tiaramisu, I accidently spell nightmare as “knightmare” when I’m texting people.
This deck is already bad. No Crossout Designator. Salon you should always run at least 2 of if not 3. And 2 Promenade is really good for negating face up cards.
Cross out in a blind second deck is a horrible choice
@@geiseric222 I think thats the issue. Madolche is considered a blind second deck but it actually functions better as a going first deck because of how strong glass is in the current meta. Being able to disrupt a players graveyard an on field negate and hand traps go a long way. If you get the normal combo line a hootcake that is unable to be destroyed by battle and card effect allows for a much easier otk on turn 3. People are running the deck like it's still 2014 glass has added a whole new element.
Madolche isn't a blind second deck in the current meta. It USED to be blind second, before Teacher and before the current meta of negates at the end of turn1
Current Madolche can play first or second, and when going second crossout isn't actually that bad because it can banish your own handtrap monsters as well, freeing Peting
