Why does every church insist on painting the wall behind the stage black these days? And the sanctuaries are always kept dark. Did Christians become fearful of light or something? Sanctuaries are starting to look more like concert venues, while common areas look like cafes. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer traditional church design.

I'm from the Netherlands and I've gotta agree, they look more like concert venues than a church
It doesn't look anything like a church, look more like a bar with entertainment stage -- why would a church have a stage anyway?
