This show and Tower of God were 2 of my favorites from the past few years. Made me half want to start reading webtoons but definitely made me want more adaptions.
The webtoon is much better than the anime adaptation for the god of highschool and I would recommend checking it out, the pacing of things and they way certain events take place are muchore impressive in the source material. An easy example is mori's fight with executive Q. In the webtoon its a whole different vibe, he dog walked that executive lol. Tower of god does a much better job as an adaptation of its source material in my opinio and I look forward to seeing future seasons
I'm surprise how is this anime even popular. First episode, we see some kids riding bicycle while performing insane stunts. I began to think that they're mutated superhuman. Turns out they're not. So i guess this anime is just a comedy cartoon like Sylvester the cat and Tweety. Chasing around doing ridiculous stunts and never dead. Turns out... it's not?? What the hell, and i abandon the show on first 15 minutes of the first episode.
@@liecretsev i think its popular compared to some other anime but if your trying to compare this with the manga its so no were even close to it but i think this is a good anime its hard to put everything they had is hundreds of manga chapters into 13 episode i do agree sometime anime add unnecessary stuff that they dont need to
None of the main characters had any real character developement, and the one that did got beaten by the main character in the beginning of the anime, nice. Backstories are so 2010 I guess.

And you, by any chance, are you talking about the NOX infiltrators? honestly the webtoon was much better at this, ok that loss it was ugly for her but the guys cheated and that was not her moment to shine that was mori's moment to defeat a entire team alone that was his moment of shine, Mira's moment come when when she defeated Ilpyo who had just beaten Mori, which was way cooler than if she'd just beaten some extra who no one cares

It could've been even more amazing if the makers of the anime thought more about what to skip and what to not. A great deal of amazing stuff skipped in just 12 episodes. Mori fighting with all the three duplicate team members at the tournament, many amazing things in the fight with Ilpyo and more or so were removed completely. If it hadn't, this video could've been 10 min long!😔

It's nothing new, most of the time Manga and/or Webtoon is better than anime. They don't have a limit to how many chapters they can make in story building but in anime they are forced to put one season into 13 episodes so of course webtoon and manga series are way better.

People in AOT missing some few manga panels in anime: AOT ANIME SUCKS. CANCEL MAPPA And then theres God of Highschool anime who literally skipped about 50 chapters or even more in the webtoon and still people loving this piece of art. You see the differences in fandom? Lol
We need more anime with fights like these. this brings me back to the first seasons of bleach, though this is on a new modern level of animation. I'm a bleach fan ngl. Hyped for Quincy arc. but i doubt it'll compare to this anime, really. We need more intricate and care for details like this, the animators of this one deserves a full year payout as bonus.

If you look to their ears, you'll notice that they are red too, I think that is because of the fights, a lot of fighters have their ears fucked up. And in the show the characters are always fighting. an i think that the "extras" don't have their noses and ears like that
watching this reminc me when i was reading a normal manhwa about highschool fighting tournament, and suddently turning into battle of stance and god in a split second.
I gotta watch this when I get the chance. That was nice to see. I remember reading the comic half a decade ago or more. I started reading it when it only had like 5 or 10 chapters. Years go by so quick.
If the anime was like the manga (where il-pyo wins) and was extended up to 24 eps. They could've finished the fight with jegal taek. also, they had nice animations!!
What bugged me was that they could and should have gone into more detail about the buildup to certain situations that were in the Manhwa and they instead ignored it for expediency. Like the whole fruit confrontation between Jin Mori and Na Bongchim, there was so much more context there with regards to Mori and his grandfather and Bongchims training.....that context was important for the development of Bongchims character in relation to his encounters further in the story, and yet they skipped heavily over that bit of the story. It's things like that which annoy me when it comes to anime, ignoring entirely necessary plot points. They basically reduced the nuance of the showdown to Jin Mori punches this person and SUPER POWER ATTACK KICK on this person. They in my mind destroyed the whole storyline that the author created. Anyone agree?
