At first I thought it was something like that ! Then the anime came out ! I asked to a friend if it was worth it, he said: "Yes, go watch it !" I watched the two first episodes of the anime, then I started to read the Webtoon, in one week and two days i reached chapter 405. I continued to watch the anime because the site I read the chapter on only was at 405 (i'm french so I read the chapter in French) I found a site where the chapter 476 released, so in one night I read from chapter 405 to 476 and now i'm waiting for chapter 491 ! I loved the series and the show so much that I started to draw Mo-ri and Il-pyo and my drawing got upgraded a lot ! 🤣🤣🐵

Mira wasnt meant to get her National Treasure till she fights Illpyo and gets the win which was huge for her. Mori wasnt meant to tap into his true self till the final fight. Smh imma pass on this anime now and stick to the webtoon. Hopefully if they do a season 2 they can listen to the fans and stay loyal to the original source

It also actually creates buildup to Mori’s powers reveal unlike where in the Webtoon it was all sort of revealed at once instead of glimpses or hints as to what it is. Plus it makes why it would be here as the Nine Tails is a enemy Mori faced in his past life that had a major impact on him.

forget the title. I'm surprised by the direction they are going in compared to the webtoon. It's already diverging with this win. Also one of the points added in later was that Mori was so strong because he had mastered martial arts on top of the other stuff. Also Mira had development from this as well originally. I wonder how involved the author is with the animation. They mentioned at the end of the 5th arc/"chapter" that they weren't happy with some of the stuff they had written so far, so maybe made changes themself?

Fun fact, the creator of the G.O.H is actually directing most of this , so what's happening right now is apparently what he wanted to happen in the webtoon that he thought of later but it was too late to change. He's changing many things in the anime, so both webtoon and anime watchers are probably gonna be confused.

If so, he changed it into a less original story. The main character winning by unlocking a mysterious power isn't new. Mori losing and sulking and Mira winning despite everyone underestimating her is far more original and meaningful
@@art_lobe I kinda like it, This fight gives Mori a chance to establish his God hood a little earlier than I remember so it doesn't feel shoe horned in later. Also Mira still has some time to shine. Didn't Mira have some bs wedding arch in between the tournament? Hopefully than can make so much needed changes to that arch or replace it for something better for Mira entirely

There's only two reasons they needed to do this.
1.Since in the anime the competitons is just pure 1v1 ,unlike the webtoon where it's 3v3 but with standins. They needed jin moris team to win .
2.The author wanted it this way ,cause in the webtoon when he gets the power it was just out of nowhere,so I guess they wanted to make it so that they gave glimpses of it before the final reveal
I think they did this because they can never be sure if they'll have the budget for a season 2. in the case that they somehow can't make a season two, they introduced his power a tad earlier
