Door slams, trying to vape in the car, wanting to stop somewhere, giving directions to destination and stop saying I’ll tip you in the app and not tip 🤦🏻♂️
1. Slamming doors or trunk 2. Eating and leaving trash in car 3. Adding multiple stops and taking long. 4. Talking loud on the phone. (On speaker) 5. Rolling down the window all the way on a cold or rainy day. 6. Picking up a rider where there's no parking and I have to circle the block and wait for them. 7. Constantly calling or messaging me saying "what's taking so long or where are you?
#1 …when an Uber driver puts my bag in their trunk for me that eliminates the slamming trunk ordeal. No one knows your trunk, how heavy it is or how much effort it takes to close it. I have to slam my hatchback so hard just to even get it to close… How do we know your car? thankfully over 90% of Uber drivers are great and load my suitcase for me and those are the ones that get 30 to 35% tip from me. If you don’t do it for me you get 20 to 25% which I still think is fair.
One rider kids ate crackers in my car and left a mess. I didnt even see it until i drop them off. I was working a nice upscale area. That be last time that will happen. I am glad i clean my car out. That really looks bad for a business person who's jumping in my car.
Riders also scratch the paint work around the trunk/boot when loading bags seen it time and time again. I help put bags in because of this. . Not much tipping going on in New Zealand unfortunately.
The other thing I avoid are added stops. Riders know that some drivers don't do stops, so they wait until you pick them up and start driving to add stops. I tell them straight I have another rider and can't do it. Plus you should have asked me first before proceedings to add a stop. My fare was $9 before the added stop and $9.15 with the stop 😆 🤣 😂
I never pick up anyone with multiple stops with the way uber pays you for stops. Its now a cat and mouse game. I'll pick up people and then they'll add stops because they know we hate it. I simply tell them you just screwed up my night or day with your bs. I tell them politely I'm a business man not a charity worker and I don't work for Uber. This is the most important thing. You have to educate a lot of people because most have no idea what rideshare really is, or claim they don't. I tell them if you want multiple stops tip me appropriately FOR MY TIME IM SPENDING TO ACCOMODATE YOU. If you don't tip me for my time and expenses I will never pick you up again. Most I never see again or will never pick up again since I know their address and timing. A few get it.. But most people will try to take advantage of you as much as they can if you continue to let them get away with it. Its not my problem if they have a DUI, not my problem if they are on disability, not my problem they split up with their wife because they have a drinking problem, not my problem they can't get up for work and get fired. Ya Ya Ya Da. I solve those problems with the Uber app and my vehicle and my time and I am underpaid. So please start respecting me when I help you with your problems. You have to get them to understand that you are spending your time, providing your vehicle with a lot of expenses, to allow them to either live the life style they want or to survive. The ones that get that or the ones you work with and slowly add to your list. Avoid everyone else..
Also playing sound over their phone without driver’s consent, loud phone call, language barrier, or bad pick up location due to lack of parking or a no stopping zone to name a few.
It's too bad we can't rate riders based on tips as to avoid a non tipping fare. It's customary to tip the cab driver and I rarely get tipped. It's pretty damn horrible. Uber's fares are completely unsustainable unless they start chipping in for gas and maintenance/repairs.
That's weird, only done a few hundred rides but I make way more from tips than I do from fares. Always keep the SUV clean, have bottled water in the rear cup holders, music playing quietly, temperature set depending on the conditions outside, talk if the passenger talks, help them with luggage or local info if I can.
Often I'm loading and unloading and no tip. Complete arrogance of the rider not to tip, even an extra 1.00 per bag would be better than nothing. Annoys the Fff out of me
I’d say half of my rides stink like weed or booze. Haha. The worst is when they smell like ass! Take a friggin shower and change your underwear! These are basic adult skills.
I usually get ready to help the riders load luggage, or unload it, but sometimes they voluntarily do it themselves before I do. Even I had non tippers that I unloaded stuff for. What’s wrong with people?
I don't let riders eat in my car but there are passengers who will test your patience and try. An automatic 1 star if I have to tell you not to eat in my car. I can't stand when riders are loud on the phone, plus I can hear you and the person on the other line, also slamming my doors etc. There are so many things why I will give a 1 star. Plus if I see a ride below 4.8 I will not pick up the person to many times I've realized the lower the rating the higher the issues I have to deal with.
I no longer drive Uber trips, but I only gave people 5 stars or 1 star. Nothing in between. 5 stars if I wanted them in my car again. 1 star if I didn't. 1 star and Uber won't match you with them again. The vast majority got 5 stars. My rating over 7000 trips was 4.91 I gave people 1 star for talking disrespectfully to me, arguing about masks when they were required, adding stops mid trip without asking, asking me to make unscheduled stops, people who claimed to have service dogs but I knew damn well it wasn't a service dog, people who have an obvious bad flu or Covid (coughing, sniffling, and sneezing the entire ride) and vaping or smoking.
Only I rated a low stars for a rider who slammed my door, but this rider conversely gave me a low star rating. The Uber operator did not block such kind of bad behavior and tolerate it.
1. Talking loud on speaker phone 2. Body odor 3. Vaping 4. Slamming doors or trunk 5. Making us wait 6. Using someone else's profile. 7. Drunk and obnoxious 8. Leaving trash in car.
Or calling a uber 17min away and when i arrive you still not ready for another 4min and 30 sec than updating trip to only 3min away in heavy morning traffic in rush hr than look at my speedometer
How do you rate your customers poorly and not get poor ratings as retribution? We can only rate right when they're getting out of the car but they can rate for days after the ride. 😢
1. Sitting directly behind me when they are the only passenger 2. Walking out into the middle of the street when I am in the middle of turning around to pick you up! 3. Leaving crap in the back seat! 4. Talking hella loud on the phone!. 5. Just having a bad attitude overall. 6. Calling me "your slave for the day because you think I am at your beckoning call to drive you around on errands. 7. Requesting "a ride and not ready when I get there always texting "be right there" 8. Expecting me to get out and load your luggage and not asking me! I don't load bags and get tips all day long. 9. senior citizens expecting you to come in the doctor's office and pick them up or load up groceries and unload and carry them to their door. 10. People that don't use the correct service and expect you to do all types of extra things ie load furniture, load groceries, load luggage and unload luggage and carry to their door! I can go on forever but I will stop there. Out of all of these my number one pet peeve is the first one i meantioned about sitting behind me when its only one passenger. Walk you lazy behind around the car and get in on the rear passenger side. Lastly, No you can't sit in the front seat unless the car is full enough to require doing so. UC berkeley students have your a$$e$ ready when I get there! One student was still in the shower and expected me to wait for her!!! I waited for the cancellation fee!!! Damn I have more! Parents tell your kids to STOP calling ubers and wasting my time!!!!!! Walk your A$$ to school or take the bus like I had to! Parents stop calling ubers for your young kids in 1st grade and having them walk out to my car and try to get in! STOP IT!!! make a round trip from your house and get your A$$E$ up and take your kid to school and you can come right back to the house! Whats wrong with you! OK rant over! I hope that you learned somthing today!
i agree with everything but the luggage, they will ding and dent your fender if you let them and slam the trunk. move out the way i will load and unload
Deliberate added stops while en route. Crumbs, junk left in car (wrappers, water bottles). Long stops without asking. Insults. Not confirming riders name or destination. Smoking/vaping. Drunk.
4.76 in my area is terrible. My grading system is A-5.0 to 4.94, B-4.93 to 4.86 C-4.85 to 4.80 anything below 4.8 I don't really want they tend to be late to come out to my car. They add stops after the trip starts or already had a stop. They seem entitled and are rude. I drive lots of xl they're the group that sends one person out to the car and is like we just have a couple more. They're the once that order an x ride and send to people out and see it is a xl and try to get me to take 4 more riders. They can hold their liquor. They think they ordered a hotel room not a ride. They're the woman that sit right behind me and don't say a word. I already feel the 1 star coming from her. The person that feels it is okay to touch my arm while talking to me. But one of my favorites is the guy that tells me that he will take care of me on the app. Ect.....
I close doors softly, I don’t drink, I tip 30% and rate 5 stars always..even for rude drivers. I get to my pickup spot before I even request a ride! One driver gave me 2 stars and I’ll never know why. I am from the south and have good manners. Why do I have a 4.85 from one rating that I think was an accident! I now have to worry that a driver will refuse me. I am so mad and have now gone back to gross Taxi cabs.
They just stole my $98 tip on Friday. Telling me the passenger never tipped me and I have proof. When I finished the trip me and the passenger exchanged info on some networking stuff. He tipped on the app while I was there. I even sent Uber the screenshot from the passenger stating that he tipped and they still denying it! Smdh
thing is... if you as a driver give a low rating the rider can see that and WILL retaliate in return a low score AND are people aware that uber loves low score on both ends because they charge riders more for a ride based in part of their score and drivers get less based on their score so this whole flat rate of 25% that uber takes is total BS... there are many things that uber hides concerning hidden fees and this is part of why and how uber takes more than 25% surprised? you shouldn't be... Sergio is asking the wrong questions and Ill leave it at that
Driver should absolutely not be loading and unloading luggage, baggage and or cargo. Here is why….nowhere in the driver or riders terms and conditions does it state that fare being charged includes the uses of a drivers trunk space or the drivers labor of loading/ unloading luggage, baggage or cargo. Inconsistent Tips do not cut it! Keep in mind physical labor is wear and tear on ones body. This past month I underwent rotator cuff surgery. Tips will not cover the cost of shoulder surgery, medication and the physical therapy needed to correct this injury. Even if I added up all my tips from nearly the last 8 year wouldn’t cover the cost and you know damn well UBER could give a damn. I’m four weeks out of surgery and I tell all my passengers this…”you packed it, you load it and unload it” I’m providing you with the extra space for free and burning additional gas. If that’s not worth a tip, then guess what your rating will be?
The biggest one for me is since I do XL and Premier SUVs if they order a vehicle Premier or let’s say UberX but they have more than four passengers or if they order an XL but they have more than six passengers even though my car fits 7 I tell them no problem but you’ll pay extra for the extra rider. Typically I prefer to cancel the ride and charge them my limousine rates. Most people don’t want to wait for the ride or a second vehicle. If I do continue the Uber ride not a problem either as long as they don’t give me any attitude or be disgruntled. They’ll still get a five star and I’ll educate them. Since I like doing the night crowd noisy people don’t bug me, but people who bring drinks in my vehicle such as alcohol do bug me. Especially without permission. I live in Utah and they’re very strict laws against that. If customers make me wait more than five minutes total they’re getting a one star always. Unless they apologize upfront explain the bad behavior and offer a really nice tip. I If a customer tries to add us stop are usually give them a three star rating because I usually decline those rides as I don’t want multi stop rides. Or if they asked me to wait I told them I can do it under my limo rates afterwards if they give me any kind of attitude I merely give them a one star because I know I’m getting a one star. They’re just trying to be cheap and not pay full price for another ride. As long as I’m getting paid to wait I have no problem but I am not OK with the rates for Uber per minute. Customer selecting the wrong car option for what needs to get done just like the previous one mentioned, we work in a ski area read my business partner and if they select Premier or UberX and don’t select XL and they bring skis in my vehicle they get a one star. They’re taking advantage of the system hoping that they’ll get an XL or hoping that their skis will fit in a small vehicle is ridiculous. I don’t do Uber pets, but when I do have a service animal I do expect the animal to be on the ground and not all over my leather seats. It’s only happened once and that’s immediate one star rating. Even with apology. Unless there’s a big fat cash tip and a big apology. I have no problem with service animals but I do have a big problem with owners allowing their big dogs furry dogs all over my leather seats. Bags have never been an issue for me unless they’re still loading up their bags at the door I am sitting there waiting, that would be a one star. I put snacks in my vehicle and drinks so I expect crumbs and other garbage to be laying around and I just suck that up with a vacuum cleaner portable one. When it comes to vaping I’m OK with that because I Vape myself. No one is asked to light up a joint or has tried which would not be allowed and I would’ve merely stop the road and tell them to get the fuck out. obviously any kind of racism or extreme offensive behavior would get a one star for me as well. I’m very likely reported to Uber.
@@ValeriousRex I’ve had a lady sit in my front seat and grab my thigh and everything. I didn’t mind too much since she was cute but yea sometimes a older lady might touch you thinking you some little teenager kid driving em around lol but I can defend myself if I truly felt sexually harassed. It’s much different if the driver was female and getting her body touched by male passengers. Drivers, male or female also have to worry about fake reports from passengers when their “requests” get denied during a service , weather it’s stopping at a gas station or asking for sexual favors… the algorithm is so evil man, no protection
I have done over 5000 rides now and only given 1 star twice. Once for a drunk person and the other for a company that booked a ride and totally did it wrong. I think we are getting to sensitive in some cases. I am for certain some drivers hit on pretty women, get turned down, then give a bad rating. I also never drive nights so maybe I just find it easier to always give a 5 star.
Here in Orlando my first words to a passenger going ether to the airport or another resort are, don’t worry about the luggage, you are still on vacation. Business or pleasure I’m here to provide a full service, luggage, open doors even assisting passengers with disabilities. Not long ago I carried a lady from her wheelchair to the front seat of my SUV. I’ve got a $100.00 tip from her. She asked me if it was posible for me to carry her and I did what was right. We should be able to rate passengers more than 15 seconds after we close the ride.
How hard would it be for Uber to show drivers see the rating AND total number of rides a passenger has done? For example 4.3/6 or 4.3/354 rides. It's very easy for a brand new rider to have several 5 ratings and 1 one star rating. So the person who has taken 354 rides probably deserves their low rating while the person with 6 rides might have run into a petty driver.
If riders are late to the vehicle, -1 STAR Slam doors, -1 STAR Touch my radio, - 1 STAR Back seat driver, -2 STARS Vape in car, -2 STARS If the ride says " I'll tip you in the app", -3 STARS ( It's a LIE) Asking to squeeze more riders than they are paying for, -3 STARS Eating in car, -3 STARS Sneak drinks, -4 STARS Hitting each other, -5 STARS Vomiting, -5 STARS Hitting or yelling at the driver, -5 STARS ride ends immediately.
I can't stand when a rider gets in my car and is screaming at the top of their lungs in the phone. Or has their music blasted on there phone. It gives me a headache 🤬🤬. I always ask my riders if they have a certain preference of music w when they get in. Or a certain station that they would prefer.
I'm in the Las Vegas market. Slamming the automatic door...1* Ripping the automatic door open...1* Getting in my vehicle smelling like a pot farm. It will keep me off the road after dropoff for 15 minutes while I try to get rid of the smell..1* Bringing alcohol into the vehicle...1* Being sent to a highschool, knowing it's probably a minor that the parents are too busy to pickup...mommy gets a 1* Opening up a window when it's over 100 degrees outside, then complaining it's now too hot inside...1*
If I have four doors stop climbing over my damn seats. Being a smart ass , giving us hard working Uber drivers 1star ratings just because you fuck up! Not tipping, trust & believe I have a photogenic memory & I know who left the 1 star ratings. I have a hit list for everyone who fucked me over!
Uber or Lyft don’t punish riders with low ratings I saw so many with 3-3:30 range! Drivers are the ones who are punished. Most riders that use Uber or Lyft do not use their accounts, the ride has been ordered by third party or different companies like social services, dealers, and you still being given low rating by third party! Most of these riders do not have Uber or Lyft accounts so they depend on their girlfriend or boyfriend or other friends, relatives but the ratings does not come from the riders but the account holders who didn’t ride!
Eating and putting makeup on in my car ticks me off. Also, dirty foot prints and scuff marks on the back of my center console and doors. People seem to love pushing off and putting their feet all over the place. Much worse in Winter when there’s mud, snow and salt all over the ground.
1. Eating in my car (you don't clean it I do) 2. Slamming the door for no reason like why 😑 3. The two and three's iykyk the annoying/disrespectful ones 4. Not knowing where the hell your going 5. Wrong pick up location what they said(Not my fault 🙄) 6. Leaving trash in my car albeit just like empty bottle but still not cool 7. Not speaking when spoken to just silent for no reason from point A to point B 8. Seatbelt it's raining for the love of God and "I don't have to wear a seatbelt" 9. Late or no show wasting my time 10. Chauffeur I AM NOT your special driver absolutely NOT want a driver to drive you around ALL day order one I feel theirs more, way worse or equivalent but these are mine at least
I'm a pretty laid back driver, but slamming my door is a star off, smelling strongly of Marijuana is a star off, politics and religion is a star off, disruptive demeanor in a fashion that comes off aggressive is a star off. Hundreds of factors in play. I've been temporarily deactivated due to a report of being under the influence of drugs, my truck reaked of weed. I fought a week to get back activation. From there on, I don't deal with riders that smell of weed before they get in.
Poor manners bad attitude are the worst . I am the person never rejected even my worse day ubering. I understand my position is depending tips as a rideshare. Any u ask I would never say No unless concern my time to make less .my opinions in my market most route have tolls. Uber gave rides options to put no tolls until we started the trip can see that . . 12 minutes trip turn out to 40 minutes. I always explain toll 1-3 dollars can get the disination early however some pessenger don’t understand and ask drivers to pay if we decide tolls ending out of my car. I am sorry I give 1 stars and that also Uber provides them options don’t care we are the drivers. No manners at all . Riders may consider save a few dollar but Uber didn’t pay for our time. No no . I never accept multiple stop trip if I see any trip add stop unless costomer letting me know I would tip extra for the stop if I would stop for them I need confirm I do enough free service . Uber should have also let drivers know this trip request no toll’s before I accept it exspecailly on the most triffic hours. Uber gps even don’t update speeds have increase and stop sending emails about speeding. Never have a ticket/ accident 30 years on the road.we drivers may rush because u pay suck for us to pay our bills .
I doubt any of these passengers even care about these ratings... also, I doubt anything can happen from drivers rating passengers low, they still gonna get picked up
I won’t pick up any rider under 4.7 ⭐️ I’m a 5 ⭐️ driver. I won’t rate a rider less than 5 unless they are really bad, like doing stuff on purpose like they don’t care about my vehicle and space. I avoid “Bad areas” and lately I’ve been avoiding bars at night on weekends! If someone spills something small and asks me for a napkin etc or shows that the person really feels bad about it , and apologizes, I won’t rate them low! STUFF HAPPENS, we get mad at UBER FOR ROBBING US IN OUR FACES. I get lot’s of tips, I help people not expecting a tip from them, and I still get it, even when they don’t need any help, just by treating people the way I want to be treated it helps both of us to have a nice comfortable ride!
Stop wearing perfume/cologne. Apply that when you get to your destination(s). Avoid chewing gum and smoking. Chewing gum can be loud and annoying so it's best to avoid it. Stop backseat navigating and driving. We get paid to drive you so please just sit back and relax. After all, you probably wouldn't want someone who's not your boss or colleague to do your job for you. And speak up when there's an issue. It's best to say something when it happens so we can resolve the issue right then and there. And if you do but the issue doesn't get fixed you'll have more to include in your complaint to Uber. That will help Uber to match you with a driver who is a better fit for you on a future trip. Also Uber doesn't tell us which rider complained or which trip they were on, causing many of us to ignore the complaints anyway.
UBERS b i g flaw is we can't wait to rate the rider and that 2 minute free wait is a 1 rating. I'm a Philly cab driver since 1994 and helping load luggage doesn't mean they will tip. with Lyft no tip and I dont pick them up again.
Well I don’t work for tip if you do that I need changed my job… But this no mean that I will be rude… The Way I works who is pay better I take the trip, sometimes I cancel Uber trip Right in front of the customer to take other trip from Lyft because is paying better… After that if get there and customer don’t show in 1-2mint If is busy I cancel and move on… About giving customers rating all about to be ready to go… If they make me wait is done .. 1 star Last I don’t do extra stop … I am not Muni … Uber and Lyft don’t pay enough to do that… Every times that I see trip with extra stop or customer add stop after I accept I cancel the trip… Working in Bay Area you need to do that otherwise you don’t make money.
I have ‘slam’ door signs in and out and on my profile, and some still slam doors! I also have signs up, no smoking, eating or open containers! (Open bottles, cans, sip-straw tops, etc-OK! Open cups, glasses and like- NOT OK!) And I agree with luggage load/unload, that’s part of service! If you’re physically capable. (I’m 76) And when are locals in Vegas gonna learn to tip? In the tipping Capital of the world! 🤪
I seldom let a rider with a rating below a 4.9 in my car. A 4.85 is my absolute lowest. Lowly rated riders are more likely to rate low and misbehave. I have a 4.97 rating on Uber because of it. I struggled having a 4.8 or higher when Uber didn't let us see rider ratings and I took all rides. 1) Don't take riders that text, "Wya (where u at, where are you)." 2) Don't take riders that text, "are you on your way" or that want you to know, "I'm running late." 3) No UberPool I have a few more but these things will keep you out of a lot of trouble. Trust me.
Door slams, trying to vape in the car, wanting to stop somewhere, giving directions to destination and stop saying I’ll tip you in the app and not tip 🤦🏻♂️
Lol........ The old I'll tip you in the app bs. I simply tell them Uber will steal it so give me cash lol.
1. Slamming doors or trunk
2. Eating and leaving trash in car
3. Adding multiple stops and taking long.
4. Talking loud on the phone. (On speaker)
5. Rolling down the window all the way on a cold or rainy day.
6. Picking up a rider where there's no parking and I have to circle the block and wait for them.
7. Constantly calling or messaging me saying "what's taking so long or where are you?
#7 I will cancel the ride. That's already a huge red flag and they are likely to rate you low
If they call me asking what is taking so long, then I automatically cancel the ride because I know their going to be a headache.

I no longer drive Uber trips, but I only gave people 5 stars or 1 star. Nothing in between. 5 stars if I wanted them in my car again. 1 star if I didn't. 1 star and Uber won't match you with them again. The vast majority got 5 stars. My rating over 7000 trips was 4.91
I gave people 1 star for talking disrespectfully to me, arguing about masks when they were required, adding stops mid trip without asking, asking me to make unscheduled stops, people who claimed to have service dogs but I knew damn well it wasn't a service dog, people who have an obvious bad flu or Covid (coughing, sniffling, and sneezing the entire ride) and vaping or smoking.
Only I rated a low stars for a rider who slammed my door, but this rider conversely gave me a low star rating. The Uber operator did not block such kind of bad behavior and tolerate it.
1. Talking loud on speaker phone
2. Body odor
3. Vaping
4. Slamming doors or trunk
5. Making us wait
6. Using someone else's profile.
7. Drunk and obnoxious
8. Leaving trash in car.
And stench of cigarettes
I just had a no win with damn Lyft support, passenger left sunflower seeds in my backseat.
I've seen as low as a 4.36. They would NEVER let a driver get ratings that low overall.
4.36 out of 5 is good.. isn't it?
I've seen ratings of 4.11 and 4.17 and I have a screenshot of both
I seen a 4.13 and a 3.99
@@petershenouda4010 A driver gets fired for a rating lower than 4.6.
@Peter Shenouda, when it's based on your last 100 rides as a passenger, if you can't keep a 50% decency rate you are not a good passenger.
Or calling a uber 17min away and when i arrive you still not ready for another 4min and 30 sec than updating trip to only 3min away in heavy morning traffic in rush hr than look at my speedometer
I'm pretty easy but a few things that are controllable. 1 star for loud and vulgar language on there phone.
How do you rate your customers poorly and not get poor ratings as retribution? We can only rate right when they're getting out of the car but they can rate for days after the ride. 😢
I NEVER PICK UP UNDER 4.80
same
Seen a 4.03⭐ ride request come in tonight.
HERE IS MINE: make me wait 5 to 10 minutes then said the rider: IM SO LATE CAN YOU DRIVE FAST? That’s a low star rate for you my rider.
Drunk.
Taking forever to come outside knowing you live on a busy one way street
Ect.....
Not sure how tips effect ratings. You rate immediately after the ride, and the tip can take hours or even days to come through.
Which I don’t fully understand! Is it the system or the rider ? ‘Oh, I forgot to tip my driver’! Two days later! ???
I love the couples that just don’t stfu and want you to keep jumping in on the convos.
Smdh
I intensionally raise my radio volume way up when rider/s talk loud on the phone, loud & cussing conversations, play something on their phone.
thing is... if you as a driver give a low rating the rider can see that and WILL retaliate in return a low score AND are people aware that uber loves low score on both ends because they charge riders more for a ride based in part of their score and drivers get less based on their score so this whole flat rate of 25% that uber takes is total BS... there are many things that uber hides concerning hidden fees and this is part of why and how uber takes more than 25% surprised? you shouldn't be... Sergio is asking the wrong questions and Ill leave it at that
Don't have a loud youtube video going on. Especially when they start it with loud volume and it disturbs the driver.
I had 2 rides with 3.4 and 3.3 stars today
The other day I received a request from a 4.10 and I declined it. It was Uber Comfort
Out of 5 star? Not bad..
Don't pick them up if you value your access to the app, brother 😢
Yeah, No cancel that or don't take it
How was their behavior?
Pets automatically 1 star 🌟... because they always leave a mess
Two things get on my nerves the most that's using a speaker phone in my car and not speaking when spoken to it's an automatic one star
I agree with everything you said 🤷♂️
80% DON'T tip, why help their rating?
I don't like it when the passengers unexpectedly add another stop or ask to go through a drive thru.
Adding stops or changing the drop off location when you arrive to the pickup location is no go for me. It seems suspicious to me.
I hate waiting. When I pull up, you should be ready.
My main pet peeve is eating in the car without asking. I drive Lux only and I don't want my car full of crumbs.
If a customer tries to add us stop are usually give them a three star rating because I usually decline those rides as I don’t want multi stop rides.
Dude I have a 4.1 as a rider, and i think it wasn't ready
I usually give a 4 or less rating for the following :
Rudeness
Slamming the door
Cleanness ( ie bad body Oder )
Making a mess of my car .
I still carry disinfectant spray!
Unannounced stops
Not having the gate code and taking long to walk to the car
Any hold ups
Trying to get too many people in the car
No resting your hand on my thigh. No petulance. Not incessant coughing or sneezing because I caught COVID-19 from a cougher/sneezer at Christmas time.
What?! You’ve had passengers put their hand on your thigh??! That should be a deactivation
Honestly I believe Uber and left make up plenty of these allegations themselves, especially to riders who often decline their bull rap fares
Wait time we get paid by the ride not for waiying
How hard would it be for Uber to show drivers see the rating AND total number of rides a passenger has done? For example 4.3/6 or 4.3/354 rides. It's very easy for a brand new rider to have several 5 ratings and 1 one star rating. So the person who has taken 354 rides probably deserves their low rating while the person with 6 rides might have run into a petty driver.
If riders are late to the vehicle, -1 STAR
Slam doors, -1 STAR
Touch my radio, - 1 STAR
Back seat driver, -2 STARS
Vape in car, -2 STARS
If the ride says " I'll tip you in the app", -3 STARS ( It's a LIE)
Asking to squeeze more riders than they are paying for, -3 STARS
Eating in car, -3 STARS
Sneak drinks, -4 STARS
Hitting each other, -5 STARS
Vomiting, -5 STARS
Hitting or yelling at the driver, -5 STARS ride ends immediately.
I always get a tip the biggest tip was $200 dollars guy told be bring me some beer and I will give you a good tip it was $200 dollars
I can't stand when a rider gets in my car and is screaming at the top of their lungs in the phone. Or has their music blasted on there phone. It gives me a headache 🤬🤬. I always ask my riders if they have a certain preference of music w when they get in. Or a certain station that they would prefer.
If i don't let them eat they give me a bad rating or false complaints
Each rider automatically gets five stars unless you put 4 or another, on the other hand, if the rider wants, put five stars
Most of my pax don’t even know they have a rating.
The tip through the app it’s not worth it uber will take from it but i help all the time
It’s not fair that we have to rate immediately and the rider can retaliate.
I'm always worried about giving poor ratings bc I fear they'll correspond w/a poor driver rating for me. Does the rider get their rating immediately?
Same issue here , they respond and do the same
I'm in the Las Vegas market.
Slamming the automatic door...1*
Ripping the automatic door open...1*
Getting in my vehicle smelling like a pot farm. It will keep me off the road after dropoff for 15 minutes while I try to get rid of the smell..1*
Bringing alcohol into the vehicle...1*
Being sent to a highschool, knowing it's probably a minor that the parents are too busy to pickup...mommy gets a 1*
Opening up a window when it's over 100 degrees outside, then complaining it's now too hot inside...1*
Every time we lower their rating, they will turn around and give us a 1 star rating for either no apparent reason or false report.
I wont accept anything below 4.5
Eating and putting makeup on in my car ticks me off. Also, dirty foot prints and scuff marks on the back of my center console and doors. People seem to love pushing off and putting their feet all over the place. Much worse in Winter when there’s mud, snow and salt all over the ground.
1. Eating in my car (you don't clean it I do)
2. Slamming the door for no reason like why 😑
3. The two and three's iykyk the annoying/disrespectful ones
4. Not knowing where the hell your going
5. Wrong pick up location what they said(Not my fault 🙄)
6. Leaving trash in my car albeit just like empty bottle but still not cool
7. Not speaking when spoken to just silent for no reason from point A to point B
8. Seatbelt it's raining for the love of God and "I don't have to wear a seatbelt"
9. Late or no show wasting my time
10. Chauffeur I AM NOT your special driver absolutely NOT want a driver to drive you around ALL day order one
I feel theirs more, way worse or equivalent but these are mine at least
“Find out what your rating will look like!” Lol
Can't a driver kick riders out mid ride, or refuse the ride if they give attitude? You're getting a bad rating from them anyhow.
UBERS b i g flaw is we can't wait to rate the rider and that 2 minute free wait is a 1 rating. I'm a Philly cab driver since 1994 and helping load luggage doesn't mean they will tip. with Lyft no tip and I dont pick them up again.
Well
I don’t work for tip if you do that I need changed my job… But this no mean that I will be rude… The Way I works who is pay better I take the trip, sometimes I cancel Uber trip Right in front of the customer to take other trip from Lyft because is paying better…
After that if get there and customer don’t show in 1-2mint If is busy I cancel and move on…
About giving customers rating all about to be ready to go… If they make me wait is done .. 1 star
Last I don’t do extra stop … I am not Muni … Uber and Lyft don’t pay enough to do that… Every times that I see trip with extra stop or customer add stop after I accept I cancel the trip…
Working in Bay Area you need to do that otherwise you don’t make money.
i explain ratings to my riders...they dont care. they laugh at the ratings system. they could care less.
I have ‘slam’ door signs in and out and on my profile, and some still slam doors! I also have signs up, no smoking, eating or open containers! (Open bottles, cans, sip-straw tops, etc-OK! Open cups, glasses and like- NOT OK!)
And I agree with luggage load/unload, that’s part of service! If you’re physically capable. (I’m 76)
And when are locals in Vegas gonna learn to tip? In the tipping Capital of the world! 🤪
Hello, professor thank you Uber reactivate my account thank you for your work
Excellent news👍👍🙏
Yeah professor again thank you. Please reply the email I email to you please. Thank you and big respect to you professor you are amazing
Just work for a transportation company and Lyft and Uber will lose lots of money
Slamming doors and having no respect for my time
Getting in my car just after slamming meth definitely gets a 1 star
No tip automatic 4 stars unless its a medical ride, loud music or speaking loud on your phone 3 stars, rude to me 3 to 1 stars.
1) Don't take riders that text, "Wya (where u at, where are you)."
2) Don't take riders that text, "are you on your way" or that want you to know, "I'm running late."
3) No UberPool
I have a few more but these things will keep you out of a lot of trouble. Trust me.
